"The Coolest Show on Earth!" is returning to Orlando November 15- 17, 2013. Toy, Comic, Art and Fan Convention.
The Florida Xtravaganza Convention is a staple Orlando event with a rich 20+ year history. The family run show has had it's ups and downs over the years. A few short years ago, the show was growing at an exponential rate. In fact, FX was growing too fast. A number of things including a rough economy and corporate involvement caused the event to close it's doors in 2010.
As a founder of the ORIGINAL Florida Xtravaganza and the events' most successful director I am going to re-boot the convention as the family-run and fan-friendly event that we all have come to know and love over the years.
An undertaking of this magnitude will cost a great deal of money and support. What we are looking for on Kickstarter is just that... a kickstart. The funds raised here will be used as our start-up costs to get us up and running. Once we get over the start-up hump, FX will support itself to fruition.
I am confident that with the support of all of the friends of FX, we will once again become "The Coolest Show on Earth!" and put a wonderful fun-filled weekend back on your calendar for many years to come. Thank you.
