On the Road!
On Wednesday we officially left Brooklyn for our first leg of the trip - Lancaster, PA. Despite a few set-backs including a broken left wrist for Eric (bucked off a horse), a delay in our kickstarter funds, and the need to get 4 new tires on our van (1989 Ford Conversion) today ($700!), we are in high spirits and scouting out our first painting session for the afternoon. Our goal is to paint in Lancaster over the next 4 days and then head out to Detroit. Last night we stayed with Eric's brother, Steve in Columbia, PA right next to the mighty Susquehanna River.
This morning we dropped our money for the new tires right outside of Lancaster at Midas, then at 10:30 visited Eric's gallery "Red Raven Art Company" on gallery row in downtown Lancaster, to drop off a few paintings from Brooklyn. Grabbing a quick bite to eat and updating everyone, and then off to our easels.
