Are you ready for crutches innovation?
If you have ever used standard crutches or know someone that has, you know just how painful they are.
KMINA is the next generation of CRUTCHES, a product that has barely changed in the last 4.000 years (since the Ancient Egypt).
We've PATENTED KMINA crutches. After long nights, many prototypes, and many tests with real users, we created the world's first PAINFREE, STYLISH, and AFFORDABLE crutches, but we need your collaboration to jump into the next stage!

KMINA crutches have 2 main features.
1. A tilted forearm support that allows you to distribute your weight between your hands and forearms.
2. A shock absorbing system that allows you to reduce pressure.

Fastening strap
We have added a neoprene fastening strap so that you feel COMFORTABLE and SAFE.
Changeable Forearm Padding
You can easily exchange, wash, and even personalize the forearm padding to be sexier with the color that suits you best.
Hands free
When you need to free your hands to open a door or use the phone, simply rotate the handle.
Adjustable heigth
KMINA crutches are adjustable to perfectly fit your height.
Adjustable forearm length
You can also adjust them to fit your forearms length.

Flexible and Wide Tip
Finally, moving down to the tip of the crutch, we have introduced a flexible and wide tip so that you feel even more COMFORTABLE and SAFE.

We have developed many prototypes and we have continually tested them with real users.
Tests and feedback from real users have been the perfect formula to get the final prototype completely adapted to meet people's need.
Tests with real users
We are a multidisciplinary team composed of 3 main partners.
Ignacio Mañero - CEO & Founding Partner: Mechanical Engineer from ICAI, with more than 4 years of experience in startups, in business consulting and in strategy consulting. He suffered using standard crutches many times, so he invented KMINA crutches.
Alejandro Vañó - COO & Founding Partner: Economist from Polytechnic University of Valencia, with more than 4 years of experience in audit and business consulting. After an accidente, he also suffered using crutches.
Jaime Usabiaga - Advisor & Founding Partner: Doctor of Philosophy with wide experience in Traumatology and Orthopaedic Surgery. He was the Chief of Traumatology Division in University Hospital Donostia, professor and speaker in many congresses. He knows well the pain that crutches cause in patients.

Risques et défis
We will be ready to produce after collecting the funds but we might face some problems with our suppliers. In that case, we might suffer delivery delays but we will always deliver them as soon as possible.
We are a competent team and we know how to make real products from the beginning. We also have Lanzadera support, one of the most important acceleration programs from Spain.
