Christmas Lights Card Game: Relaunch (Canceled)
Bulbs – working and broken. Screw them on – plug them in. Can you untangle the lights to make them work? Family card game 2-4 players.
Christmas Lights was featured by Casual Game Revolution!
Before we get started with the campaign we have a few backers to thank for all their advice and suggestions. Their ideas were so excellent we just had to use them!
Special thanks to Tristan, JayBee, mrduer, Courtney Falk, RomyCat, John Rap, Nick Sparks, EVS, Mark Shaskey, Vincent Fiocco, Martijn de Klerk, Juan Carlos Touzet, Michael Körbis, Matthew Kelling, Erica Watson, Robert Prior.
If we missed someone let us know!
This is a relaunched campaign. We did some serious digging and found a card supplier that was able to make parts of the game slightly cheaper. We passed the savings down to you through reduced shipping costs.
The final game is basically as shown, however, we have the following changes to make to the prototype, if we are successfully funded:
- All final cards will be printed on minimum 14pt cardstock with rounded corners
- Box will be professionally manufactured with high quality gloss finish
- Instructions will be finalized and updated depending on the level of stretch goals reached
- If stretch goals are met we will add the specific items to the game
NOTE: all backers will be updated as to any changes we make to design for feedback. Have a suggestion? Let us know and if we take it into consideration we will credit you for it.

Risks and challenges
This, as you know, is our second attempt to successfully publish Christmas Lights. It has been a long but fun haul up to this point. For this run, we've tackled our major obstacles from our last attempt head on. We were able to get our funding goal cut in half through the effort of our entire team. We found a way to make the game cheaper so the profits per game help toward paying our expenses back faster AND we got our shipping down this way as well.
Shipping logistics & fulfilment, up to this point, is our biggest challenge. Thanks to the advice and suggestions from our backers, we've found a way to ship at a reasonable rate. Although our games themselves don't sell for less, the shipping is less across the board.
Since this game is our own design and the artists are good friends of ours we have full access to take this as far as possible with the only contingent being our final funding amount raised.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
