HOW TO KILL A CAT is a Fast Action 2D Platformer and Shooter Hybrid inspired by great games such as Contra, Mario, Diablo, and many more.
I have designed this game to expand easily and is focused on fun play mechanics. No clunky slow movements here. Everything is fast and frantic. Can you keep up?
Every dollar over funding goal will be used towards increasing development speed and game variety. The more money I have, the more fun and crazy things I will add. We do more than $100k and I will add a massive amount of things. (On top of the mountain of fun stuff coming)
$10k FUNDING GOAL - This money will be used to buy tools, software, assets, etc to finish the project.
$20k ROCKET MOTORCYCLE - I will add a new vehicle that allows you to have some attitude. Might have to do some leather biker skin to match. :)
$30k GRAVITY GUN - A gun that generates an anti gravity field tossing bad guys and objects into the sky. Might add an alternate mode that allows you to grab bad guys.
$40k ELECTRIC CHAINSAW - Tear through the bad guys like butter. Watch them explode into chunks of energy.
$50k MECHAKITTY - A giant mech that will fire lazers, rockets and punch through dirt.
$75k EARTHSMASH JUGGERNAUT - My homage to the Hulk. Grow giant and smash your way through EVERYTHING.
$100k MAD SCIENTIST LAB - A whole new spooky area with new enemies, environment, and boss.
BONUS - $100k BREAKER BONUS - MAGIC SYSTEM
Over $100k will add MAD SCIENTIST LAB plus I will add a new Magic System allowing you to cast spells that alter earth, create golems, magic missile, and more.
$150k UNDERWATER ZONE - Holy crud! Now we are getting crazy. Adding a new area with new physics, and new scares. Breathing in air pockets and navigate around giant sharks, eels, and mines.
$200k PETS AND MERCENARIES - Don't go alone ever again. Gather your army. Multiple pets, soldiers, creatures and more. They will provide explosives, healing, buffs, and maybe access to special areas. Oooo.. we shall see.
$300k+ MULTIPLAYER - Holy cow...this is the big time. I've looked into adding multiplayer already, but don't have enough time right now . But if we raise $300k I will have the resources to get this done. AND IT WILL BE GLORIOUS! COOP, PVP, and MORE. If I am going to add multiplayer, I want it to be special.
WHY DOES THIS PROJECT NEED PLEDGES?
This project is at the stage where fun things will be added daily. The engine work so far was all designed for easy add ons.
The goal is to add a massive amount of variety and fun. Whimsical entertainment with challenge is the goal.
The more funds we get, the more time and resources that can be added to create an amazingly vast amount of game play variety.
This game is going to make you feel intense emotions... Anger, Fear, Joy, Sadness.. But it will be exciting.

We play a lot of games. A LOT.... LIKE NO LIFE...And lots of recent video games have been lacking depth and fun. So many purchases look great, but are barely playable. Clunky controls, broken levels, no variety, etc..
We want to create something that you have fun playing. We understand that we can't compete with big title games like Modern Warfare, Diablo, etc.. However, we KNOW we can still bring you something that you will remember as being a great time.

HOW TO KILL A CAT IS AT A STAGE WHERE IT COULD BE PLAYED NOW. The work on the engine and basics are done. Achievements, Settings, Controls, are finished.
BEFORE WE RELEASE WE WANT TO ADD A MOUNTAIN OF CONTENT.
Also MEGA-BOSSES are going to be added that have unique mini-games. These will be challenging breaks from the normal game.
NOW WE JUST ADD LOTS AND LOTS OF FUN STUFF!
This game will be completed and released no matter how much is raised.
