Support Josephine and the Roach!

Dearest backers, I need your help once again... The Josephine and the Roach page on IMDB has a strangely low rating. Please check out the page here: http://m.imdb.com/title/tt2267560/ ...and rate it! Our film does not deserve 2.3 stars out of 10! It's the first thing anyone will see after googling "Josephine and the Roach", so it's vitally important that we get the rating up to where it should be! I really appreciate your help with this. And please spread the word... Thanks much! Jon

Woah! Just checked back in on it, and am glad to see this resolved. A 9.2 out of 10... not too shabby, not too shabby at all. And well deserved.

I just became a member and gave it a 10, which it deserves. Looks like their way of rating is a bit skewered. Though it seems to have gone up a bit since you saw the 2.3 stars.

It's strange, because when you click on the votes breakdown, there really is only one "bad" vote and the rest (10 currently) are above a 7. IMDb seems to have a system for weighting bad votes more heavily... something that really hurts us small filmmakers when we get an inevitable troll.

It's also worth mentioning that IMDb may count votes more heavily if they come from a user who has a very active account. That "1" rating apparently comes from a Top 1000 voter (who clearly has some taste issues!), so encouraging people to vote for other films as well and keep their account active might help you out. This wonderful little piece deserves to be much better represented.
