About this project
We have created a number of mini object sheets as stretch goals for this project, roughly 2.75" x 2.75" in size. All objects on these sheets are individually die cut, ready to peel and place, and fully wet and dry marker erasable.

Battlemap Layers are an extremely versatile tool that enhances the visual appeal of your role-playing, skirmish, or war games. The tiles and objects are printed in vibrant, high resolution color graphics on a smooth vinyl surface and have a protective exterior coating allowing for wet and dry marker erasability while protecting the color images.
Below their printed surface lies a strong and durable layer of crisscrossing fibers that resist tearing and stretching while allowing easy customization with scissors or a craft knife. The bottom is coated with a long-lasting adhesive which sticks to nearly any sealed surface making the tiles and objects easy to remove or re-position thousands of times with virtually no residue left behind.
The tile sheets form the base layers while the objects add additional detail to your scenes. The tiles and objects are layerable allowing you to increase the depth and detail of your adventure or battlefield and place entire image groups at one time. Their adjustability provides countless ways to edit your scene to fit the situation or story you are telling.
They are very game friendly and are usable on any clean sealed surface such as painted or stained wood, painted walls or ceilings, vinyl, plastic, metal, leather, foam core, etc. Their water resistant surface allows for quick and easy clean up of spilled food or drinks while their adhesion to the playing surface prevents accidental bumps from changing the scene.
Their thin lightweight design makes it a breeze to pack up, store, and transport your adventure or battlefield between games. Their flat design and solid adhesion allow for easy positioning and placement of miniature figures. The tiles and objects do not interfere with distance measurements, line of sight, or dice rolling.
When compared to other game aids such as game or dungeon tiles, color maps, or 3D game elements they are extremely cost effective and versatile while delivering stunning full color scenes to your games.

Your support in backing this project will assist us with the completion of the artwork, finalization of the tile and object pack layout, and will help in purchasing the die cutting equipment to produce the object packs.
Backers who select rewards at the sampler level and above will receive tile or object packs well below the projected retail price of $25 per tile or object pack.

Each tile pack includes three reusable peel and stick tile sheets with 8 x 11 inch of high resolution color tiled background. Tiles form the base of the scene. They are designed to be cut using scissors or a craft knife into custom sizes to form the base layers of your game's scene. Backers may choose either a tile pack with tile sheets with a 1 inch square or a tile pack with sheets with a 1 inch hex grid. Each tile sheet is wet and dry marker erasable.
Build caverns, rock outcroppings, or rough stone flooring. Use as a full sheet or cut to size to fit your game's scene. Add additional tile packs to increase the size or add to another tile or object pack to increase the detail of that scene.
Create above or underground stone floors, roads, or walkways. Use as a full sheet or cut to size to fit your game's scene. Add additional tile packs to increase the size or add to another tile or object pack to increase the detail of that scene.
Construct dungeon, castle, or building floors with the flagstone tile pack. Use as a full sheet or cut to size to fit your game's scene. Add additional tile packs to increase the size or add to another tile or object pack to increase the detail of that scene.
Build above or below ground grassy area scenes. Use as a full sheet or cut to size to fit your game's scene. Add additional tile packs to increase the size or add to another tile or object pack to increase the detail of that scene.
Create rough terrain, dirt floors, or areas with sparse vegetation. Use as a full sheet or cut to size to fit your game's scene. Add additional tile packs to increase the size or add to another tile or object pack to increase the detail of that scene.
Construct grand hallways, throne rooms, or featured areas of your scene. Use as a full sheet or cut to size to fit your game's scene. Add additional tile packs to increase the size or add to another tile or object pack to increase the detail of that scene.
Build above or underground wooden floors for buildings and structures. Use as a full sheet or cut to size to fit your game's scene. Add additional tile packs to increase the size or add to another tile or object pack to increase the detail of that scene.
Each object pack includes two object sheets, roughly 8.5 x 11 inch in size, packed full of die cut objects. All objects are layerable and stack-able allowing you to add detail quickly and easily to your scene and are scaled for use with 25 to 32 mm miniatures.
The asterisk (*) shown after the quantity of some objects shown on the image details below indicates that there is a variation in the size, shape, or images for that object type. For example in the Temperate Trees and Rocks object pack the Large Trees 3" - 5" shows a quantity of 5* indicating that their are 5 of these objects but their size, shape, and/or image vary from each other.
Create towers, forts, a large castle with a central keep, a long wall with towers to keep the barbarians out, or use in an underground fortified setting. Add river objects from another object pack to create moats or add a second pack to build an even bigger citadel. Over 55 objects in this pack.
Create above or underground mines, railroads, or add stalagmites, mineral deposits, or rock/ore outcroppings to your caverns. Add river and rock objects from other object packs to add detail and depth to your mine or railway scene. Expand your mine or railway by adding a second object pack. Over 105 object in this pack.
Add rivers, canals and streams to your above or underground game scenes. Add rocks, trees, or bridges from other object packs to increase the detail of your riverside scene or add a second pack to lengthen your river or stream. Over 85 objects in this pack.
Build ancient temple ruins, fallen cities, abandoned dwellings, or use within your above or underground scenes. Add rock, trees, or streams from other packs to design a highly detailed ruins scene or use a second object pack to increase the size of the ruins. Over 50 objects in this pack.
Construct an above or underground sewer system flowing within your dungeon or town. Add rocks or bridges from other object packs to span the sewer’s waterways. Add additional object packs to build an entire waterworks system. Over 100 objects in this pack.
Create transitions from one level of your scene to another using wooden or stone straight, curved, and spiral stairs or ladders. Add an additional object pack to create large or long staircases. Over 60 objects in this pack.
Make beautiful woodland, park, garden, or other indoor or outdoor scenes. Add a second object pack to create larger forests or add to another object pack, or packs, to fill out the detail in other scenes. Over 65 objects in this pack.
Design a tavern or inn or use to add chairs, tables, statues, plants, or rugs to your game's scenes. Add a second object pack to build a large tavern or to create multiple taverns and inns within your town. Over 80 objects in this pack.
Create dungeons, mazes, or combine with tiles as walls for your buildings. Add doors, trapdoors, windows, bridges, columns, and braziers to enhance the detail of your game's scenes. Add a second pack to make massive dungeons, mazes, or to create walls for an entire town. Over 280 objects in this pack.
Castle Object Pack Example
I thought that this would be a good example of the size of the items which can be built using one of the object packs. The objects shown in the video were from an early prototype that had the square grids. These have been removed in the current castle object pack. The vinyl mat is not part of the castle object pack.
Wet and Dry Marker Erasability
This video shows the tile and object's wet and dry marker erasability as well as how you would remove accidental permanent marker inks.
All shipping costs are included for backers in the US. Backers in the rest of the world, depending on the reward selected, will be prompted to add a small additional amount to their pledge to cover the added costs of shipping.
The date(s) reflected in the rewards of this project are an estimate of the shipping date. They are not your actual delivery date. We will notify you via email when your reward ships and provide you with the appropriate tracking or customs information.
We would like to ask for our backer's support in helping promote this project. We are offering a special reward to those backers at the sampler level and above.
If the project funds, sampler level and above backers who have liked our Facebook page and either posted on their Facebook timeline or sent out a tweet about this project will receive a special adventurer's outdoor camp mini object pack.
Artwork for this special bonus mini object pack is in development. It will be the same size as the stretch goal rewards.
To receive this reward, take a screen print showing that you have liked our Facebook page and another screen print of the post on your Facebook timeline or Twitter tweet while the project is live. Attach the two images to the survey email we send out after the conclusion of the project.
We have been working for many months to design and develop high quality images and artwork for this project. We have worked hard to make the images as clean and recognizable as possible and have paid a great deal of attention to the shadowing so that the object images appear correct at all viewing angles.

I am very thankful to Dan for his support and assistance on this project. His eye for detail helped greatly in developing many of the object images.
Nearly all of the artwork was generated by our team, either through originally developed or from purchased royalty free artwork that we modified to fit our graphical format.
We also used a few images from online map based graphical forums that were posted as "For Personal or Commercial Use." I want to thank these artists for allowing their artwork to be used and shared. If we used any of these images in error, please let me know and we will work with you on credit or we will remove them.

Risks and challenges
This is our third Kickstarter project. Both our first two projects were successfully funded and both shipped within 30 days of our initial projected shipment date.
We have learned a great deal along the way about handling and managing Kickstarter projects such that we feel confident that we have reduced the chances for problems with this project about as far as humanly possible, but with that said no project is without risk. We see risk to this project from three primary sources; design, production, and shipping/fulfillment.
The design of the graphics and the layout sheets are currently at about 85%. We feel strongly that we will be able to complete the remaining work without missing our projected fulfillment dates.
We have developed two sources which are capable of producing these products. This should eliminate the possibility that we will be unable to receive our products or that our prices will dramatically rise within this project's time frame.
Shipping and Fulfillment
This is perhaps the most difficult area to deal with and is subject to weather conditions, labor strikes, etc. We believe that we have identified the best methods possible of packaging and shipping for these products.
Artwork Content and Tile/Object Sheet Sizes
We will do our absolute best to provide the packs with the artwork indicated, but we do reserve the right to alter the artwork as necessary. For example, if we find a particular object problematic in die-cutting we might decide to alter that image's size or shape so that we can provide you with a better product.
Lastly, there is always the risk that Mount Rainier, our local dormant volcano, erupts taking the Seattle basin with it. Sadly this is not something we have been able to find a solution for ;)Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
