At Salt we’re all about questioning and exploring. We’re constantly inspired and motivated by the amazing individuals and businesses all over the world that are innovating and disrupting for social good. Having started life online we are now launching the printed version of our magazine and want you to join us grow our movement. By subscribing to Salt you will be part of a movement that will co-create a more compassionate business future.
Salt is a movement calling for a revolution in the way we do business by promoting 'compassionate business thinking'. We believe the world needs a more compassionate approach to business in order to reverse the social and environmental damage we're currently causing. We believe that there is another way and that business can, when properly channeled, be a force for good. In March 2014 we created a digital magazine that allowed us to promote some of the best compassionate business stories from all over the world. We covered more than 150 stories for 10,000 unique visitors per month, but we need more. Our movement supports and inspires those with the ideas and solutions to make this happen. This contemporary bi-monthly magazine is for positive change agents; equally motivated by making a difference as they are making a profit.
We want to bring compassionate business thinking into our every day lives and to support the transition of businesses who want to be part of this revolution. In 2014 we launched online at wearesalt.org and have consistently grown our community across social media channels. But we need to take our message to the next level. On 29th April we are bringing our vision to the newsstands to raise the profile and impact of our movement. We need your help to make this happen.

The content of the magazine is organized into 4 main topics:
- New Economy: How is economics adapting to the challenge of planetary emergency?
- Positive impact: Individual actions with global repercussions
- Sustainable Solutions: What macro-actions can we take to deliver wholesale transformation?
- Inspiring Leadership: Who’s driving the conversation? And who have the best ideas?
Our target is to reach £10,000. This figure will enable us to plan for further print publications. Our extended target of £20,000, will enable us to increase our circulation and spread the word. Our ultimate target of £40,000 will enable long term business planning, including renumeration for our growing team and office space. In an nutshell:

We are really excited about launching our first print version. However, the most important aspect of this project is to raise enough subscribers.
We put a lot of work into designing and building the magazine, but as a publishing project we are also aware that there will be challenges of make it sustainable and impactful as much as possible. Our promise is that we'll rise to meet all these challenges and more with the combined experience and passion our team brings to this project.
We've given a conservative estimate for our delivery dates. We are committed to keeping you informed of our progress both during and following our campaign. We assure you that we are all working very hard to produce a sensational product.
