Delivery Dates: Cliffhanger first announced the release pushed back to November in update #26 (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1964352341/shadowrun-online/posts/389878 ), with the beta to be some time before that. This is the first official Kickstarter update pushing the beta to the end of the year. Keep us in the loop more, guys... an update once per month with the usual goodies (art & story teasers) could be paired with an brief scheduling update, so there are no surprises. I see you've got a great opportunity with JA:O on Steam, making it the best it can be for that crowd, and that if it is healthy, the company is healthier, and that will result in *this* game being better. Just remember... we're here for Shadowrun. So, we aces, chummer?

I'm glad to see there are long-time veterans working on this.

@alcaray The post is about the setting for Shadowrun Online, why it was chosen, and what you will be doing within it. Also, the setting was taken place from the Sourcebook for SR 5th edition which isn't out yet and that Cliffhanger helped with in some respects. It is Denver during a period of lockdown so everyone is trapped within the city, megacorps caused it and want to hide any evidence, police are too thin to maintain regular order, everyone has something to gain and lose, and you're stuck in the middle of all of it.

I don't know what you are talking about. Or what it looked like you wanted to talk about but failed to talk about. It does not take nearly that many words to confuse the shit out of me, so if that was your concern, then you worked way too hard at it.

You mentioned end of the year for beta. Quick question on what "beta" means as it seems like a term that's been drastically altered over the last few years. Do you mean closed testing phase, open polishing phase or pre release demo phase?

@Cliffhanger - I say take your time. Do not let peoples impatience force you to release something before your ready. As much as I want it now. I would rather wait and get it when it's ready and we do not have a lot of people yelling "Why did you release it with all these bugs. this suxs I am going somewhere else.!"

I can't wait to get my hands on this. Hopefully you expanded on the Catacombs. And NeoNet will have my full support!

I like the lockdown concept. One of my favorite scenarios was playing in Chicago. I hope this will capture some of the same feel (though obviously minus the bug spirits).

      Nice !

So you can do a character just to weigh in the corporate bringdown and another who will wander around in the streets. Lots of replayability. Cool :)
