Morph Bottle includes two separate compartments that adjust automatically based on the contents. One compartment holds your drink and another holds your EDC (everyday carry) essentials. These essentials might include keys, credit cards, a small multi-tool, energy bar, or whatever your essentials for adventure.
Morph Bottle’s patented removable storage compartment self-adjusts based on the size and number of items you want to carry. That means no wasted space because the storage compartment shrinks to the minimum size needed to carry your essentials. Morph Bottle holds 20 ounces when the EDC compartment is empty and 15 ounces of water when the EDC compartment is filled.
The EDC compartment is constructed using a collapsible food-grade silicone pocket. Place your items in the pocket and fill the bottle. The water pressure collapses empty space in the pocket giving you more room for water. You decide whether to maximize water space or maximize storage space. The compartment is sized to stow things like keys, cash, credit cards, small multi-tool, energy gels, etc. The compartment can be removed for easy cleaning.
We wanted to create the perfect everyday carry water bottle that could be used by anyone, any time, and for all adventures--whether to the gym, office, or outdoors. No one likes over-stuffed and bulky pockets. Lots of bottles have storage compartments, but everything we found had a fixed-size. Some things we wanted to carry didn’t fit and when things did fit, often there was lots of wasted space. Different people carry different things that can change depending on the day’s activity. So, we came up with Morph Bottle.
Morph Bottle has a patented storage compartment that self-adjusts based on the size and number of items you want to carry. We made the storage compartment as big as we could based on the max gear we might take while maintaining a bottle we wanted to wrap our hands around. Sometimes you take less. No problem. The storage compartment shrinks to the minimum size needed to carry your essentials so there’s no wasted space.
By working with factories we were able to test material finishes, flush out usage and connection issues, experiment with form, and produce multiple iterations of working prototypes. Each version was tested and refined for a better and more complete product.
Our manufacturing partner has been in operation for over thirty years and is a major supplier to other brands found all over the world. We made our selection after having personally met and vetted dozens of other manufacturers. Your bottle will be made by a factory that meets high standards of quality such as ISO 9000, ISO/TS 16949, and SGS standards; values workplace safety by meeting safe and fair labor standards such as OHSA 18000; and conducts its operations in an environmentally-friendly manner according to ISO 14000.

Co-founder – Alex spent over ten years working on Wall Street. When not on the trading floor he could be found on a climbing wall or exploring new spaces in the concrete jungle of NYC or the Canadian Rockies that his parents call home. Like every good boy scout, he likes to be prepared. Sometimes this means just keys and some cash and credit cards; other times it means an energy bar or a small multi-tool. What might be essential for some activities might be superfluous for others. The idea for Morph Bottle was the result of working to find a better way to carry a water bottle and other daily essentials without over-stuffing pockets and where the type of essentials might change depending upon the adventure.
Co-founder – Charlene has over ten years of product design and manufacturing experience. After graduating from Parsons School of Design, she was offered and accepted a teaching position at the school. Her entrepreneurial spirit lead to the co-founding of a home goods company. She later left to help launch Morph Bottle. She possesses a keen eye for design, a deep knowledge of manufacturing, and a tenacity to execute. Charlene worked closely with our manufacturing engineers to shepherd and drive Morph Bottle from proof-of-concept to realization.

Risks and challenges
We’ve been working on our the bottle since 2014 because we wanted to get the engineering details right and not have our Kickstarter backers be the lab rats. We spent a great deal of time and money to travel overseas and meet and vet each potential factory in-person, develop relationships, commission prototypes, test the prototypes, re-work the design based on the test results, and patent the design. Not only that, but we are partnered with Backerkit and have been planning out shipping with our third party logistics company. We’ve sacrificed our careers and have gone all-in. As a result, we are committed to delivering because turning back now means eating cat food. We’ve got a lot of other cool related ideas and expect to roll them out after this launch is successful. We’re here for the long-haul.
That said, we know things can happen that are out of our control. What we can promise is transparency and keeping you in the loop. We want you to be with us for our next venture; and we know the best way to do that is to do right on this venture.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
