Its so exciting to think that tomorrow is the official release date of "What Is New Thought?". We did the first official screening of the film in Savannah, GA and folks really seemed to enjoy it. It also spurred a lot of conversation about New Thought history afterwards, which is great. Other screenings are starting to pop up around the country and tomorrow the movie will be available on the www.NewThoughtMovie.com website for the general public.
You should have already received an invitation to my dropbox folder that has a download version of the movie. I know many of you have already watched your digital download and sent me messages about it. Make sure when you go to the folder to click "download" instead of trying to play it directly from the dropbox folder. It will only play 15 minutes from the online folder. If for some reason you haven't received that link let me know and I'll make sure you get it.
As you may know, packages for the kickstarter campaign were sent out in the mail Friday and Saturday. You should receive your packages this week if you haven't already. The only things that haven't gone out yet are the posters (which will be sent this week), some personal letters and videos (which I will also start sending this week) and mp3s of original music. I didn't actually record any original music for this project like I had originally intended to do. What I've done instead is everyone who was signed up for that level, will receive a copy of my first Nashville recorded CD, MORE. Also, I've made arrangements to make the movie available as an MP3 for whoever is interested in that.
Finally I'd like to encourage you all, when you do get a chance to see the movie, tell other people about it. Its your word of mouth and telling people about this project on social media that has propelled this movie to where it is now. So now that it is available for the world to see please continue in that. This New Thought movement has a rich history that people should know about and the philosophy has much to offer the world. My hope is that this movie will open people up to that. Thanks again for your support and encouragement and I hope you enjoy the movie!
