We’d like to formally introduce you to theNEST, a theater company committed to the development of contemporary and innovative theater. Founded by Malinda Sorci, Samantha Shechtman, and Mark Cajigao, theNEST is dedicated to playing an active role in the artistic education and expression of our community through top-quality mainstage productions of new plays and a progressive youth program that fosters the next generation of theater practitioners.
After a year of successfully received readings, we have reached our first major milestone: the selection of our inaugural mainstage production:
One Thousand Blinks a Minute
by Nick Starr
We are seeking your help to bring this wonderful play to life at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this summer (2011).

TheNEST’s production of One Thousand Blinks a Minute is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions in behalf of theNEST may be made payable to Fractured Atlas and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.Thank you for your generous support!
Without your support we will be unable to bring Nick Starr's play to the international artistic community at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. This campaign is intended to cover our round trip travel expenses to the festival - without which we will be physically unable to participate in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

As you no doubt are aware, the cost of producing a play, even with the minimum amount of costumes, sets, cast and staff, is extremely prohibitive. Performance spaces are few and come at a premium. Being a fledgling company, we need your help to get off the ground—and every little bit counts. With your financial support, we can bring this and many other new plays to the public.
We need enough funds to transport the entire cast from New York to Edinburgh! At nearly $1,000 per round trip flight, we really need your help to get us to Edinburgh!
Please tell your friends! We'd really appreciate if you told everyone you know, sent mass emails, and posted this on your Facebook or Twitter. We need all the help we can get and no amount is too small.
With your (and your friends) help we can get to Edinburgh this summer and put on Nick Starr's play!
