Golden Morph Competition!

Posted by Peter Lord (Creator)

Hello Morph Crew!

We’ve had lots of fun bringing Morph back to screens across the world, but it's also brilliant to hear that watching Morph has inspired lots of you to have a go at making your own animated films!

With that in mind, we’ve devised a little creative challenge for you, with a unique prize up for grabs - a golden Morph! We want YOU to step into the role of animator and director and wow us with a new Morph adventure! Here's Merlin with a few more details...

The competition runs until September 18th and there are 2 prize categories: under 16s and 16 & over, so there's no excuse not to have a go! Merlin's also put together 5 top tip videos to help you get started if you've never animated before:

Find out everything else you need to know on the Morph website, including more tips and tricks, plus how to submit your final entry.

Good luck, have fun, and we can't wait to see what you come up with!

CBBC, The Beano and Edinburgh Festival!

Posted by Peter Lord (Creator)

Hello Morph Crew!

It’s been a busy few weeks for Morph - here’s a little round-up of what he’s been up to since our last update!

Morph’s return to the CBBC channel is in full effect and he even has his own page on the CBBC website where you can catch up with any episodes you’ve missed and check out some behind the scenes clips.

Pete and Morph also had the honour of visiting the Blue Peter studios this month - you can check out pictures from Morph’s journey to the Manchester studios on the Blue Peter website – he could barely contain his excitement about appearing in the show!

While on the show, Pete explained a little more about Morph’s history and how he is animated before challenging co-present Barney to have a go at making his own Morph animation. But the real highlight of the show was Pete being awarded with a highly coveted and very rare gold Blue Peter badge, while Morph was presented with a silver badge!

As if that wasn’t enough excitement for one week, Morph was also featured in classic UK comic The Beano! As well as starring in an adventure with the much-loved characters Dennis and Gnasher, Morph also graced a special interactive cover.

By downloading the free Blippar app, readers could watch Morph come to life on the Beano masthead – eye-popping stuff!

And finally, did we also mention that Pete and Morph are heading to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe over the August Bank Holiday for a series of model making sessions and a very special one-off comedy event? Tickets are on sale now and it would be great to see some backers there!

Phew! It's going to be a busy summer!

To keep up with Morph's whereabouts, make sure you keep an eye on his Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts - he never tells us anything these days ;)

Morph Returns to the BBC!

Posted by Peter Lord (Creator)

Attention Morph Crew – we have VERY exciting news!

After more than 15 years away, our favourite terracotta hero will make a return to the small screen on CBBC in the UK next month!

As you may know, Morph made his TV debut in 1977 on the BBC Children’s art programme Take Hart, alongside artist and presenter Tony Hart. Now he will be making his return in the 15 new episodes that were only possible because of YOU. We can’t thank you enough for your support and hope that you will be as excited as us to see him back on TV screens across the UK.

As soon as we hear about the scheduling we’ll let you know – stay tuned!

Morph does Red Nose Day

Posted by Peter Lord (Creator)

It’s Red Nose Day today and we are delighted that Morph is involved!

Expert modelmaker Jim Parkyn took part in Mark Watson’s incredible 27 hour Comedy Marathon on 27th February making 27 Morphs – that’s one per hour.

And the rest of the Morph team have been hard at work making this incredible Red Nose Day episode!

Enjoy, and don’t forget to make a donation at
