Hello Morph fans!

We’re excited to share with you the winners of our Golden Morph animation competition! We had almost 70 entries in total, including lots of really original, accomplished animations, making the judging process extremely difficult!

We sat down with Pete and Merlin and filmed them taking a look at the competition shortlist so we could record their reactions to fans’ brilliant ideas! You can take a look at the video below and find out who Pete and Merlin picked as the winners, plus we’ll also be sharing the winning videos on Morph’s YouTube channel.

Help Support Slapstick Festival!

We’d also like to share some news from our friends at Slapstick Festival, who have launched a Kickstarter campaign to secure the future of the world’s biggest, best and only slapstick festival. The not-for-profit Bristol-based festival needs some extra financial so it can continue showcasing the very best in silent and visual comedy.

There are some amazing rewards on offer for generous backers, including the chance to visit Aardman HQ for a very special 2 person Morph model making workshop! With just 3 days left to run, visit the Kickstarter page to pledge your support!

Hello Morph Crew!

If you've been following Morph on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, you'll know he's been visiting the Scottish capital recently, taking part in the world-famous Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Pete, Morph and Mark Watson

During the event, Morph joined his co-creator Peter Lord for a fascinating 'Morning With Morph', hosted by comedian Mark Watson. The lucky audience got to hear stories and anecdotes about how Morph came to life, learn about the process of animation and find out about the challenges involved in bringing Morph back to screens for a new generation to enjoy!

It was nice to bump into one of Morph's Kickstarter supporters after the show, the associate producer of 'Selfie', Kirsteen Brown.

There was also a series of fun model-making sessions on offer, a great way for families to enjoy some creative fun during the festival and learn the clever craft of model-making from Aardman expert Jim Parkyn.

When Morph wasn't busy on the stage, he also got to see a few of the sights, as you can see from the photos from his trip!
