Three Free Kickstarter Backer Shows in October!

Hello Loyal Backers:

To express our continuing gratitude, we've scheduled three great Kickstarter-Backer events during the fantastic month of October. Bring your keycard and admission is free for you and anyone in your immediate family.

The first screening is next Thursday, October 3 at 8:30, the world premiere of The History of Halloween 3D, our fun and informative new film that traces the origin and evolution of everyone's favorite holiday over 2400 years.

Then on Sunday, October 13 at 8:30 -- the night before sleep-late Columbus Day -- backers are  invited to a rare and rambunctious presentation of the autumn classic, Ghostbusters, about which Roger Ebert wrote: "The movie stars Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Harold Ramis, three graduates of the Second City/National Lampoon/"Saturday Night Live" tradition. They're funny, but they're not afraid to reveal that they're also quick-witted and intelligent; their dialogue puts nice little spins on American clichés, and it uses understatement, irony, in-jokes, vast cynicism, and cheerful goofiness. Rarely has a movie this expensive provided so many quotable lines."

And as if that's not enough, the next Friday, October 18 at 8:00, we'll be presenting James Cameron's gripping Aliens for your viewing pleasure. The New Yorker wrote: "Action thrillers assail but rarely test us; this is the tautest, most provoking, and altogether most draining example ever made."

As you know if you've attended, these Kickstarter events are big, loud, and fun, so do what you can to fit them into your busy schedules!

Thanks again.

Paul V

ps: Rumor has it that Ghostbuster impersonators will be parked out front of CinemaSalem before the October 13 screening!
