very nice... and I just received my balanced cable this week too... can't wait to play with these...
Now that the production samples are complete, what kind of timeline are we looking at for the production and distribution of the final product?
@Christian Hampp Not sure it's nit-picking but - if changing things at this point necessitates a delay or additional cost - I'd agree that it's easy enough to let it go. I just think that a premium presentation should be part of a premium product, but certainly there's a quirky charm to the occasional idiosyncratic label and it won't matter to purchasers.
uSD certainly means micro-SD. Should be a "µ" instead of a "u", but if the Font used doesn't have the special character, sometimes a "u" is used instead. I'm ok with it.
And HP instead of a headphone symbol: I don't care about, I think that's a bit nit-picking.
Concerning the commas: I thought maybe that's on purpose, a little bit of a fancy corporate identity... :) there are companies out there that do such things. Such as: every headline in a Powerpoint presentation has to end with a full stop...
I really like how minimal the 2HU unit looks. I was first disappointed about the cancelation of the silver version but the black version will work just fine. Also, if those wooden side panels ever get made I think it will be a nice visual upgrade.
This will just annoy you ... but those commas need sorting out in your address. A headphone icon would be preferable to 'HP' over the headphone socket. I'm not sure what uSD is but that may be fine if it's correct.
Nice! Thank you!
When you have a moment, it would be lovely to see some higher-resolution pictures of the horizontal configuration, especially the back panel.
