Hey there, potential Kickstarter pals! This project, is to fund the publishing and distribution of the first ever issue of my independent comic! The Horror A4 is the name of the main kaiju in the series, as well as the title of the book itself. The scope of this Kickstarter is to release Issue #1 of The Horror A4, which will be a 24 page floppy comic book. This is the first issue in what is planned to be five-issue series, to be released as they are completed. Each will be printed at standard comic size with a color cover and black and white (with grey-scale) interiors. My hope is to create a modest print run, generate some interest and get issue two done much quicker with the support, both financially and morally of you fine kickstarters.

The story is set in a world not too unlike our own. In the past there were gigantic kaijus, destroying everything in their path. There were also super beings known as Kyodai, who along with specialized para-military teams, were the only thing that stood between these monsters and the destruction of mankind. But, the last of them disappeared a century ago and they passed into legend. No longer under the constant worry of apocalypse, or destruction, mankind instead turned their sights towards power, money, and personal ambition. In this era of peace, humans could once again concentrate on themselves, for better or worse. That is... until one day a giant kaiju emerges from the depths of the earth! Humans, and this world, are no longer prepared to deal with this half-forgotten myth of yesterday. What will happen!? Can humanity survive this new menace? Who will save them!? What can be done when The Horror A4 walks among them?
Other comics I have worked on as an artist include some of the following:
Risks and challenges
The only risks involved to you, as I see them:
1.You don't like the book, either the art of story of both don't do it for you.
-To that, all I can say is I am doing my absolute best and striving to create a project I can be proud of and would want to read myself.
2. I don't produce issues 2-5.
-To be clear the scripts are done for these, and I have every intention of completing them, and completing them much faster than I did the first issue. But, life is unpredictable and I cannot 100% guarantee anything.
Other than that I see no risks, I have experience making lots of buttons and prints to sell at shows, so I know I can do that. I have not personally printed a comic before but I will be using Kablam! which takes a lot of the guesswork out of it, and I already sent in the rough art files to get a test copy back. The writing and art, with the exception of a few pages that need grey tones still, are all done so there is no chance of the book not being completed. I also have video documented proof of my tenacity to get this project done on my YouTube channel (Gazbot) stretching back over a year.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
