I'm one of Titanium Oi backer.
It's awesome & make my bike looking special.
Well done Kong!!
@Thilo: Materials are locked down, production is nearly complete and the bells are due to start shipping very soon. Therefore, it is too late to change the size of your bell at this point, i'm afraid. Hope you understand.
@Phil @Vera: Oi's will be available in store and online from October/November. These will be slightly different from the Kickstarter Oi's as these models were exclusive to KS backers only. Also, all Kickstarter backers will receive their Oi's before anyone else.
@Christopher: Yep, we were at Eurobike and i hope you had the chance to drop on by the Knog booth? We'll also be at Interbike too if anyone would like to come along and say hi.
Hey, I changed my bike in the meantime udn would like to change the size of my "Oi". Ist this still possible? How? Thank you!
Cannot wait for it to come now. They look simply stunning and will really add to my bike! Thanks Knog!
Woot! Great news!
I was about to ping y'all for an update, as it has been a while. I'm happy you provided an update, and especially happy it's good news. I agree with @George: "One month delay on KS is like receiving early from Amazon." As long as you post updates showing progress, no worries.
I look forward to my Oi Ti!
You folks just take your time. I can wait.
This was my first KS purchase and I have been very satisfied with your communication process and your commitment to selling a high quality product. I don't doubt I will purchase several more once the initial shipments have gone out.
I just want to know how can I purchase more becoz my friend who fxxking me since I not ordered one for him!!!
One month delay on KS is like receiving early from Amazon. Bell looks great!
eikipage - fortunately i am not that tone deaf. i probably can tell the difference unless the change of the oi is betwwen C major and minor.
Damian - some thinks that KS is a store and not a place where we help "kickstart" projects
For those whinging about the delay, do you want a quality bell or a crap one? Good things come to those who wait.
Log into Backerkit again, and you will see the address and the detail and status of your reward.
a) using the link in the email they sent you.
b) or if you have lost the email, go to https://oi-the-bike-bell-that-doesnt-look-like-a-bike-bell.backerkit.com/ you can get an email link to your data.
Is there a way to tell where my Oi being delivered? I recently changed addresses but don't remember if I changed delivery address in time or not, also not being able to send an email before product has shipped for change of address is a pretty not nice thing to do, not sure how I'm supposed to manage getting my mail forwarded from my flooded house in Baton Rouge to new address at this point, I already have to deal with 6000 other problems.
@Lyle Neri, I agree. Would love to see a post this week with updated bell sound.
@Knog, please post an update with new bell sound (even if these tone deaf ears won't be able to tell the difference) :)
Disappointed that we have to wait another month!
thanks for the update folks. any vids to hear the sweet improve glockenspiel ?
Ya' say it's "...news that was both meaty and sweet at the same time..."? Noooo worries, mate. It's bonzer tucker!
This will be my last Kickstarter. We were assured the deliveries would be in August. Based one those repeated assurances I provided the address details. Now they have pushed the date back but will not allow a change of address. Now I'm being put out because of their mistake?
Congrats on the achievements! Delay for 1 months doesn't sound like delay to me for a new product. Plus: we get improved versions. Also curious for the answer on Phil's question: will Oi be available in shops or only online? Looking forward to the Oi. Keep up the good work!
Just one month after schedule. That is pretty good for a crowdfunding project. I backed a photo lamp crowdfunding three years ago (in 2013), and the creators are still working to deliver to the backers. That is not very satisfying. Thanks for the update.
Excellent news, well done, looking forward to having a "bell"
to everyone who is about to complain about the time it's taken to produce this, just remember kickstarter is not a shop.
Also, congrats #knog for handling so many units!
you'r at the Eurobike in September ?
Then i will say " HI "
Looking good, can't wait.
When will the Oi be available to purchase in retail outlets? i have a friend who missed out on the Kickstarter campaign who is interested in buying a couple.
