Hello Kickstarter supporters.
We wanted to give a brief update on how everything is going with Lonesome No More programming, as well as the an update on the backer perks.
On January 26, we opened our programming up to a packed house of art and movie lovers for an evening dedicated to the film Loving Vincent, an in-depth look of the mental health struggles that followed Van Gogh throughout his life and career. Indianpolis-based artist Pamela Bliss - who happened to create the Vonnegut mural on Mass Ave in downtown Indianapolis was one of the artists chosen to create the film. Pamela approached the Vonnegut Library with the idea being the starting point of a national tour featuring personal artwork by over 30 of the artists from around the world. We were happy to jump at the opportunity to display some amazing artwork within our art gallery. In addition, we finished the evening with a special showing of the film followed by a Q&A with Pamela about her experiences.
Now we realize we promised to offer our programs to our fans from around the world through podcasts. However, an art show and movie showing does not work well as a podcast or video. So we were unable to create something for you. But have no fear, in the next week or so, we will release a short video about the evening with interviews from some of the guests who enjoyed the evening. The video will be posted on our website as well as social media.
LNM Kickstarter Perks
A few of you have reached out to us asking how the sending of the perks is going. We are happy to report that we have begun mailing out some of the lower level products and will be sending more throughout the next month. We hope to have everything out to everyone by the middle of March. The digital perks will be sent within the next week or so as well. We thank each of you for your patience and for helping us reach this goal. We are very excited with the programming and hope each of you will be able to participate one way or another.
If you have not filled out the survey that was sent at the end of 2017 through Kickstarter, please do so so we will have all the information we need at this time.
Please do not hesitate to contact me personally via email if you have any questions or concerns.
