Armikrog at E3 - Day 2

Hey all! Another great day at E3 yesterday. Walked the floor with Tommynaut, taking pictures with fans and supporters, handing out t-shirts and bookmarks. Plus lots more interviews with press and other potential biz partners, all of whom are pushing to see Armikrog happen. We even ran into our old pal Tommy Tallarico, the man behind the music and sound of Earthworm Jim, now the creator and host of Video Games Live, the fantastic international concert series that features the music of some of the greatest video games ever. Tommy's going to announce Armikrog to all his fans, and get his famous street army of guerrilla marketers to help spread the word. Check out the picture below of the two Tommys together!

Sorry we haven't been active responding to comments or messages the past few days, but as you can imagine E3 in monopolizing our time. We'll be back in the office tomorrow and will do our best to catch up with you. In the meantime, check out this great video piece our new pal Doug Kline put together for Geek Exchange where you get a nice little peek into the studio.

Tommy Tallarico, I remember him from back in the days when I was a kid and read about Earthworm Jim as well as some interviews with him. Great guy, loved EJ 1+2 with his Music so much!

@Inkan, that's a wonderful list! Thanks for your hard work in getting this piece of art funded! I appreciate you so much.

Curious about the Armikrog. Army? Add $4.96: ('96 in honor of The Neverhood release, and 4 hyper-intelligent Earthworm brains all thinking about how awesome Armikrog will be) to your pledge and change your tag line to show you've enlisted. It's a fun way to help the project by putting in a little extra.

Sorry, reception is really bad here and my phone wigged out a bit.

This might be offtopic, but: Tommy, if you are reading this, THANK YOU so much for the Advent Rising soundtrack. It is truly a brilliant masterpiece.

I like the disparity between the two Tommys' facial expressions. Tommy T is all 'RAGH!', and Tommynaut looks like 'Help. Help me. Please.'

This is such exciting news! It feels like a dream! Let's keep pushing this, we're gonna make it!

Awesome to know the guy behind the amazing soundtrack of EWJ games! I had never looked who had done that before.

I am sincerely glad to hear that meetings with press are going well and this new Geekexchange interview is incredibly well done! Hopefully a lot of good buzz comes out of this time at E3.

No worries on delays in getting back to us, we understand. It is an understatement to say you all have a lot on your plates.

    13. TenNapel on

It's Tommy and Tommy! Two Tommys to tempt you into trouble.

Tommy Tallarico is a superstar to my kids. He got my whole family of 6 into one of his Video Games Live shows that featured the LA Philharmonic playing classic gaming music. My kids were instantly turned on to not only game music... but CLASSICAL MUSIC too! It was a gate-way drug to the symphony and I'll never forget how many other kids were responding the same way.

      Great stuff.

    14. Matt Lachesky on

Awesome video on Geekexchange! New promotional material means my friends are less likely to try to kill me for pushing it so much.

    15. Luke Peterson on

Cool seeing a pic of both Tommys! Tommy was responsible for many of my fave soundtracks back in the Mega Drive/Genesis says. It seemed if he was on board doing the music, then it was sure to sound great. Earthworm Jim 1 & 2, Cool Spot, Aladdin, Global Gladiators, etc.

Kinda funny too that the initials for those behind the music for both The Neverhood (and now Armikrog) as well as Earthworm Jim are TT.

    16. Clockwork Cameron on

Woohoo! Upward and onward, thanks guys!
