Character education heroes is creating a revolutionary new children’s book series.
These books will help your child:
- Improve communication and cooperation with others
- Boost self-esteem and social confidence
- Manage and control their emotions
- Express themselves properly and appropriately
- Learn easy and fun problem-solving skills
Character Education Heroes breaks down communication into six different styles that are represented in different characters. With each of these three books you're introduced to new styles and to new relatable life situations. As you read, you will more easily identify your own communication style(s) by relating to specific characters in the book.
Children will also learn to apply the positive traits of the other styles in their own communication patterns.
This Project launches the first three books of the series!
And introduces all six communication styles.
The Character Education Heroes Series is packed with interactive and informative material that kids and parents/teachers will love. Each book has:
- A Symbol Treasure Hunt on every page
- Engaging Illustrations
- Individualized Character Building Plans
- Discussion Questions

Tamara A. Fackrell is the mother of six children and has used the principles of the Character Education Heroes Series with her family and in her profession. She has taught her character-education curriculum for nearly twenty years to thousands of children and teens. As an award-winning attorney-mediator who has been practicing for over twenty years, Tamara has dedicated her life to helping children and families by mediating in family law and also teaching children how to be effective problem solvers.
Tamara is also a popular keynote speaker for many workshops and national conferences where she teaches these same principles to adults, focusing on effective communication and conflict resolution in relationships and in the workplace. Her life mission is to empower people throughout the world to strengthen their relationships. Tamara received her PhD in Marriage, Family, and Human Development and was a professor at the J. Reuben Clark Law School where she taught mediation for fourteen years.
Rylee Witbeck was that kid all through grade school who spent the entirety of math class drawing in her cheap wide ruled notebooks. Cartoons covered every worksheet, sketches spruced up essays, and doodles dominated the back of her left hand almost daily. If one could overdose on art, Rylee would have… you get it.
Rylee specializes in children’s books, digital art, and basically whatever other style she’s in the mood to try. Her work has been featured in local publications, and her art has won several awards. Rylee is jubilant to be working on the Character Education Hero series.
We need your help to do the first print run of the books! Here is the breakdown:
Risks and challenges
The risks are low. We have been working in the Character Education genre for nearly twenty years. The curriculum has been taught and refined for many years. The stories have been developed, and we have a deep desire to make the stories available for children on their own bookshelves! Our creative team is really amazing with illustrations and design to make this dream a reality.
To further minimize risk, we have been working on these three books for nearly a year. The three stories have already been written and the illustrators story boards for the first two stories are complete.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
