Eclipse Update

Hello friends and backers!

So here's the little update we promised. Things are going well, everything is starting to come together. However, to be upfront with you, we unfortunately are behind schedule.

For one thing, although the new add-on mini-adventure is written, it is still being play tested at the moment. It is only 50 sections but a thorough testing is important notheless, to avoid any errors ending up in the final printed book. It also need to be translated of course, which is happening at the moment as well.

Secondly, the translation of the main book, which was actually finished by the time we launched the Kickstarter, is currently being proofread and revised by a native speaker with a decades-long experience of correcting English texts at the University level. We noticed that the original translation had some flaws, and we decided this was a neccessary step to bring it up to the quality we are aiming for.

The above are processes which unfortunately can't really be rushed, but on the upside it means the book will be as flawless as we can possibly make it.

Last but not least, we are still waiting for a few backers to send us some photos so their portraits can be included into the Hall of Gratitude. If You are among the ones who pledged for a backer gallery portrait, and haven't sent us Your photo, we would ask You to please do so asap.

So it looks like the book will realistically not get printed before early Spring. We are terribly sorry for the delays, but again we are only working hard to make the product as good as possible.

Thank You so much for Your patience and kind messages!

Thank you for taking the time to make sure it's excellent. Instead of rushing it. Looking forward to enjoying the adventure

(Rubs hands in anticipation) Ooh! Can the backers who supplied photos get a sneak peak at what they'll look like in the book?
(Donald Duck's Voice) Oh boy Oh boy Oh boy! :)

Good things are like wine and need time to ripen.
After all, this is not a digital product whcih can be later easily patched. Better take your time now and do it right. :) Vielen Dank.

Don't worry for any delay; the most important thing is the quality. :)

No sweat. A fully finished product is worth waiting for. I've waited for Ogre, that was more than six months delayed (a year perhaps?) so know I can wait for this. ;)

It's fine a little delay , don't worry and don't rush! Some info about the moon medal would be very appreciated though! :)

Having expressed some mild concern about the English translation earlier (even though it was of a very early page), I'm happy to hear you're taking your time with the native speaker's review. Although I'm eagerly waiting for the final product, a year from now nobody will care delivery was a little later than expected but they will care about the quality of the product they have. The illustrations always look fantastic and I'm hopeful the translation quality will match.
