THE HOLY GHOST ZONE
Youthful Stephanie enters the Holy Ghost Zone, while her boyfriend, Emmanuel, receives unlikely guidance as he prepares to enter the wilderness. A mixture of rapture and disenchantment, THE HOLY GHOST ZONE follows the inner experiences of two believers at opposite ends of the spiritual spectrum.
FROM ACTOR/PRODUCER BEN WHISHAW
For as long as I can remember I have dreamed of bringing together a small group of friends to make work that is personal and idiosyncratic and experimental, where we feel free to look at the things that interest us, however peculiar or difficult. So I'm delighted that this longing is finally taking shape in the form of THE HOLY GHOST ZONE.
Mark’s script is a gem. It does the thing I love films to do : it takes me into a world. A funny, strange, unfathomable little world. I’m very excited to be involved in producing the film as well as acting in it.
FROM WRITER/DIRECTOR/COMPOSER MARK BRADSHAW
I left the church over 15 years ago, but I continue to look back. With THE HOLY GHOST ZONE, I intend to tell a tale both side-splitting and soul-shaking, a tale that playfully and perceptively explores concepts of belief and transformation.
This will be my first time directing a film of this sort, a challenge I’m looking forward to as I am passionate about this story and believe many will relate to its central themes.
We have assembled a talented and dedicated volunteer cast and crew. Most of the expense is in equipment hire, locations, accommodation and crew costs.
Please consider pledging and please do share our project with your friends and circles!
We can't wait to make this film with your help!
Thank you for your support!
