First off I just want to say I'm not a big company or loaded with cash as I mentioned in the video. I'm just a guy that loves playing D&D. I have been the DM for over 15 years. I can't get enough of it! D&D type games are my favorite thing in the world. I like to build the terrain used in our games, I like the get togethers to play our sessions, and the crazy/hilarious things that happen in our games are un comparable to anything else in my life. The only thing that seemed to be a continuing pain was the organization of battles. It would get extremely confusing to run a battle with 5 characters and 10 or so monsters. So one day I sat down and figured out a way to solve this problem, En-Counters were born. At first I made some EN-COUNTER flags with toothpicks glued to bottle caps and ran the idea while modifying it every session. I think at this point in time my idea is ready for the world to see. So now I'm going to try and raise the money thru Kickstarter and make this dream come true. I can't even think of the words to use that would express my gratitude to anyone that would be willing to help out this project. So in advance thank you! I would also like to mention that I used a few minis to show how the EN-COUNTER flags work, these are from the companies Dungeons and Dragons and Pathfinder.
Risks and challenges
I have tried to budget this project out to the best of my ability. I received some quotes on stickers, printouts, making of the bases and flag posts. I am hoping I thought of everything but there is always some kind of hidden cost involved such as the rising and falling of shipping maybe, machine failure....or something I haven't thought of. I'm really hoping everything is accounted for in the pricing I have provided.
