      @Eoghan Although I share your concern about all the delays I'm confident we will get more than five years out of our treadmills, possible ten. I don't plan on buying a backpack computer and many people like myself really don't have the space and even if you did how are you going to go on mile long hikes with out constantly having to turn every 20-30 feet? This will be an excellent solution for arcades, regular rooms in your house etc... I don't know about you but even if there is a portable VR headset I don't want to be outside running around and possibly injure myself like an idiot with a big screen on my face.

      Fantastic news, it will be interesting to see these things pop up here in China. Maybe I'll be able to get some of the arcade software if it's not available to consumers too by opening up one of my rooms as an arcade during non-class hours.

      There are some excellent games coming out right now that will be perfect for the omni so I'm really looking forward to trying them when I get mine.

      Wow, a big vote of confidence in the Omni! I can't wait to try out the first third party Omni games!

      That's great for Virtuix Omni and VR headset in general! I can't wait to test them in Canada!

      @Eoghan

      I disagree. Most vr solution up to now involve small play areas (teleport to position is not really immersion inducing). What the Omni brings to the table is a locomotion method for VR that is really not present in any of the main products yet, and is healthy to boot.

      Win win for me. Can't wait to get my hands on the thing.

      But is there any rough idea on when it's actually shipping? I was a day 1 backer. I've now had over 3 years of people asking me "So when's your Omni arriving".

      Considering the advancements that have been made in room-scale tracking, and AMD's backpack-powered VR kit, coupled with it being over 2 years late for shipping.. it's starting to look like this tech will be obsolete by the time it actually arrives.

      Hi Jonathan, yes, Europe as well. Regarding shipping: together with our logistics partner we are working out the most cost-efficient way to deliver Omnis to our customers in Europe. This may include grouping Omnis per country, but it's not decided yet. We will keep you posted.
      Best regards, Jan.

      Hi! Backer 557 here... Just wondering if there are any plans for Europe since you specifically mentioned USA and China only... and also; will you ship the omnis according to backer number, to random backers, or acording to country? I myself is a Swedish backer.

      Great- can't wait to see the game running on the Omni!

      Hi Eoghan, as announced in last week's update, we are currently completing our pilot production run. All is going well. From this point on, we will keep the production going and increase throughput as fast as possible.
      Hi Andrew, this deal is not yet generating money; however, it ensures that we'll have great VR content for the Omni and our customers.
      Best regards, Jan.

      It's nice you guys are making so much money, I just wish I already had my Omni.

      So when are you actually planning on shipping the thing?
