This is fantastic. This is what I always wanted from kickstarter, an investment option. I didn't realise the legalities behind it at the time, but now with a platform like seedbank it's just a great opportunity. Thank you.

My understanding is that you are "testing the waters" to gauge appetite for investment from your backers. I applaud you continuing to be a vanguard by considering having your backers and future customers be a part of your success. It's certainly an opportunity backers of Oculus wish they could have had.

Hi Tim, yes, non-Americans can invest as well.

Hi Avi, we are a well funded company (raised $8MM to date) with 10 venture capitalist funds invested in us. We are considering opening up our next round to our community in addition to taking money from VCs. The feedback on this Testing The Waters campaign will help us determine if a Reg A offering is worthwhile and liked by our community.

Is it possible for non-Americans to invest?

Do you think it's a good idea to solicit funds from people who haven't received your product yet? You are over 2 years late and still haven't indicated when more than a handful of units will be received. Why not wait until after you have shipped to ask for investment from crowds? The subtle message you are sending is that you don't have enough funds on hand to fulfill your existing orders.

Not trying to be difficult or disrespectful, as I am just as eager to try an Omni as any other backer and am just concerned about the mixed message this post sends. Perhaps you could try the venture capital route first?
