      Hi Mark,
Yes, all parts of the Omni have been signed off and are being tooled up. Making changes to injection molds is very hard, so at this point we are locked in. Best regards, Jan.

Is the design really, really, 100% locked in at this point? The pathfinder program makes me very concerned that it still isn't. And years of updates, almost always including the phrases "on track", "ramping up production", and even a few times "design is locked in" have suggested that the design was locked in and manufacturing was set up, when design changed quite a bit and we're only now approaching final manufacturing set up. I can fully appreciate the importance of the previous design changes, but at this point it doesn't seem crazy to think that another design change might be coming and might put us out another year.

I love you guys, I know the product will be amazing, and I'm still fine with all the delays, but at some point the embellished language got really bad. So again, is the design of the production Omni truly final and closed?

Hi Babiel, I understand and share your frustration. It's been a long road for all of us. I personally vastly underestimated the time and effort needed to bring a unique and complex product like the Omni to market. That said, we did not compromise or take any short cuts, and I believe and hope our backers will be happy and proud to receive a quality Omni. Thank you for your support in the past 2.5 years - it's been a long time indeed, and we wouldn't be here without our backers. Best regards, Jan.

Every newsletter you celebrate how cool the omni and the team is. Yes, you are. And you had a cool idea! Everytime you promise to ship soon. And than you find an otimization or something else not to ship. The first anouncement 2,5 years ago was to ship in summer 2014 (or 2013?) ;-)
Promise nothing you can not keep!
I will hope to get my Omni soon and as I understood your news right: I won't get one this year...

Hi David, TRAVR works currently both with the Rift (DK2 for now) and the Vive + controllers. In fact, we are preparing to publicly show a demo of the Omni+Vive (and controllers) in a few weeks - it's a blast. In addition to the Vive controllers, we also use an off-the-shelf XBOX gun controller (Cabela's Top Shot Elite) for our demos. Note that the Omni is also compatible with the Gear VR or other mobile devices via Bluetooth.

Does TRAVR support Oculus Touch and/or the Vive-Controllers? (or Razor Hydra, or...) Or how do you recommend to play the Game?

Hi Alkapwn, yes any functional defects that would hinder the continued use of the Omni would indeed be fixed or replaced. We will provide more info regarding the Pathfinder Program in our next update. Stay tuned!

For the pathfinder signups, I curious as to what the acceptable defects would consist of. Would they be visual only? I'm assuming that functional defects would get fixed or replaced right?

      Thanks for the update.
