2016 was a year filed with highs and lows for the Axanar team. In this episode of the official Axanar Podcast, Alec Peters and Robert Meyer Burnett are joined by Diana Kingsbury and Mike Bawden (in an interview recorded prior to the lawsuit settlement) to discuss the year in review for 2016. In the interview, they discuss the future of Axanar, the visual effects that have been completed, fulfillment of perks, and suspending the project for the trial.

      Refund would be nice, yes, thank you, since you can't deliver what this Kickstarted was stared for.

      Hey, great! Another project funded by backer money instead of actually giving us the product promised. Now lets work on getting those refunds out before another wave of lawsuits forces you to.

      Oh, and just in case you forgot, You have failed to fulfil the rewards and can not at this point fulfill the rewards and as per the kickstarter terms you agreed to when you used this platform are required to offer refunds. I'll take mine now please.

      How much backer money was spent on this and any other non-fulfillment based activities?

      Will the so called "impartial" financial review expose that or is trying to hide all of this the reason its taking so long.

      Given the promise of transparency and whatnot made during the campaign I would have expected a competently run project to have detailed enough records to make such a review a quick and painless process.
