The unique design of the Yarn Bin allows it to connect to multiple bins for multi-strand work, while cleanly feeding you the yarn.
The Yarn Bin idea came into reality when I was trying to think of a project for my Product Design class and saw my girlfriend knitting and crocheting away on the couch. Her balls of yarn were rolling all over the place and getting tangled up in each other as she tried to work on her fun projects. I wanted to create a low key way of keeping the yarn where it should be and not tangled up in itself.
The Yarn Bin will be able to secure your yarn with a weighted base and sturdy urethane walls with a lid to feed your yarn while you work on your projects.
The uniqueness of The Yarn Bin is its ability to connect to multiple containers for multistrand color work or to just store your yarn in an organized manner.
Now that I have a working prototype I can only move forward with you backers. I am in a few product design classes and will have the tools and connections to be able to successfully send out and build one of a kind bins for you. through my teacher who runs his own product design business and his knowledge in the industry I will have the available resources to get fully completed Yarn Bins to you 6-8 weeks after the project is successfully funded. Thank you for interest and I hope we can create a one of a kind product together.
