GRANDMOTHERS MURDER CLUB

A dark comedy starring four grandmothers who accidentally kill a con man.  When the con man's partner shows up, things go south quickly.

Current State: Principal photography complete and currently in post-production.

Funds are needed to finish post-production and acquisition of music rights.

OUR STORY

In late 2014, Srikant Chellappa was having dinner with his mother-in-law and her friends.  After a cordial dinner, Srikant was driving home when the thought crossed his mind, "What if all of those grandmothers were murderers and no one knew it?"  Grandmothers Murder Club was born, and two weeks later the story was fleshed out on paper.  When the producers, Dan Byington, Brian Jun and Kevin Lewis, read the script for Grandmothers Murder Club, they knew that this story was something special.

They became laser focused on bringing that amazing script to screen and shot the film in July 2015 with our stellar cast.  The footage we captured is even darker and funnier than we ever imagined.  We are so close!  We just need your help to give this hilarious film filled with murder and mayhem the post-production work it deserves.  Thank you for your contribution and helping our dream become reality!

 THE GOAL

Grandmothers Murder Club is nearly complete! We need to raise money to pay for the following:

  • Music Licensing
  • Special Effects
  • Color Correction
  • Film Score Composition

With a successful campaign, our project will be completed within 6 weeks. We thank you in advance for your support and donations. Get ready for the Grandmothers Murder Club in 2016!
