“Shift” is the first user-centric drone with a revolutionary controller. With “Shift", you can enjoy flying a drone with just one hand & one thumb. Simply hold the controller and wear a special ring on your thumb. “Shift” is the first drone that uses “One Hand Control” system - flying a drone in a very simple and intuitive way.
"Shift" changes the direction as your thumb's movement.
There are several features that make the “Shift” exceptional from current existing drones. Experiencing our seamlessly designed drone, you would change perceptions about drones.
• Shift Controller Ver.1
There is no need to think before ahead, you just mover your thumb where you want to fly the drone. Version 1’s Ring is attached to the controller. The connected ring supports stable movement with fundamental drone features.
• Shift Controller Ver.2
Version 2’s Ring is not attached to the controller; once you wear the ring on your thumb, the ring can move independently in any position. Thus, you can control a drone more delicately and change directions as you wish.
• Mini-Drone (Special Gift, KickStarter limited edition, No Camera)
A lighter and smaller drone is perfect for family occasions. As the drone’s main body does not contain any razor-sharp materials, you can reassure yourself even when kids are around. Your family and children can have a fun with the mini-drone.
• Shift Drone
As a 4K camera is installed to “Shift”, you can shoot HD-level video. Especially, Shift’s controller and extension are developed for drone beginners to shoot like professionals. Essentially, what we did was to take the complexity and unnecessary functions out to make the product available and affordable for everyone. We included the fundamental drone functions for users.
• Controller Extension
The Shift’s extension is ergonomically designed, so that users can easily operate various functions including filming. "Jog dial and buttons" are optimized for many different operations and users can personalize those.

Our app enables you to see real-time film, calibrate the controller, or connect to other drones. On the app’s screen, you can check battery remains, signal power, and the drone’s location.

‘this is engineering Inc.’ has established in 2015 based on the motto of “ENGINEERING X DESIGN”. One day, three professionals, comprises of mechanic engineering, architecture design, and computer engineering/lawyer, discussed about ways to improve our lives with new technology. Then, they decided to establish a new start up with one unified vision: to lighten the world with killer ideas and technologies. As true drone users, we appreciated the functions that current drones were offering; however, we continuously experienced the difficulties of controlling drones. Looking at the current drones, we thought that the drone should be controlled in easier ways to lower the barrier for future use. After several trials and errors, we found out that a drone can be controlled much more intuitively by adjusting controller’s xyz axis to drone’s movement. That is how “One Hand Control” was developed. With this idea, we won several awards and gained some supports in Korea. Now, there are more members joined the team and we are all working hard for this project. We would like to build more reliable and supportive community for “Shift”. Risques et défis
We have already developed the prototype (for both version I and II), and completed the testing successfully. Currently, we are working on the supply chain so that we can deliver the best product as we promised. We would like to inform you some risks and challenges.
Technical Issue: Despite the fact that Shift’s controller is compatible with most of the current drone models, there are some drone models that cannot be compatible with our product. With your support, we will continue to seek the best ways to solve the technical issues and to produce a better performing and reliable product.
Design Issue: To facilitate mass production, we are currently developing the design and assembly processes. So the design of drone could be changed little. Even if it should be changed, we can promise that it would be better than now.
Manufacturing/Production Forecast: Unexpected production delays are always a possibility. We are currently communicating with various suppliers and manufacturers in order to minimize the risk. Of course, we will work diligently to meet the target dates and aim to get rewards to you on the schedule.
