My name is Christian Brennan and I am the art director for Counter Balance Clothing. Since starting the brand in 2008 I was able to create designs that catapulted the brand into accounts around the world. On the side I would doodle images of funny and crude designs that I couldn't release for Counter Balance. These popular culture parodies would morph into an entire themed idea of treats and veggies at war. A light bulb went off and the idea of What A Treat Tees was born.
What A Treat is a light hearted look at the world around us. We believe in making clothing to make you laugh, whether it's a nostalgic look at your past or plays at popular culture today. We strive to have each new product give you that same feeling as opening your favorite candy. Unwrap your mind, take a bite out of life, and Treat Yourself!
If you help fund the What A Treat project you are investing in the first line of shirt releases. We have partnered with online retailers and brick and mortar stores to bring the product in with this initial launch, but need the help getting it going. The funds will also be used to develop an e-commerce platform and website at whatatreattees.com. 10% will go to Kickstarter and payment processing and the remainder will be used to produce the first 10 designs for What A Treat tees!
Now that we know where the money is going lets get to the good stuff, the products you can pick for helping!
The shirts we would like to initially offer will come in 10 different designs in various colors. Each makes a play on our past with some kind of popular culture reference.
Each Shirt will have the below front graphics as well as the What A Treat logo printed on the upper back. They will be tagged, folded, bagged, and shipped directly to your mailbox.
I would like the line to be available to both guys and girls. I created the below mock-ups to show which design and colors can be chosen for donating. So take a look and remember which ones you want!

If you decide to back my project (for which I would be eternally grateful!) when the Kickstarter is OVER you will receive a survey asking for your name, shipping address, and what design/size you would like. So don't worry if you don't see the option to pick a size or design RIGHT when you donate, you will receive an e-mail asking for all of that info if the project is successful (fingers crossed!)
My goal is about 72 shirts per each of the 10 designs! The more we sell beyond that, the more bonus stuff I can include with your shirts (buttons, MYSTERY PRIZES! etc) If the goal is met, I will print and ship out all of the ordered shirts by the end of November, PERFECT FOR HOLIDAY GIFTS. That's pretty much it! Thank you very much for your help and treat yourself!
