LAWNMOWER DETH 2014 re-press of debut album 'Ooh Crikey'
This is a Kickstarter campaign to fund the new 2014 re-pressing of re-activated UK madcap Thrashers Lawnmower Deth’s debut album, “Ooh Crikey It’s Lawnmower Deth”. Having been unavailable for nearly 20 years now, repeated demands from hardcore fans have led us to launching this campaign, to see if we can get enough demand to fund the remastering and repress.

Earache and Lawnmower Deth present you with a re-press of the infamous album 'Ooh Crikey' on CD and FDR (full dynamic range, pressed from original tapes) vinyl. Recorded at Slaughterhouse studios back in September 1990 this put the madcap Thrashers firmly on the metal map, doing countless shows and introducing the band to the metal masses via ditties like "Sheep Dip", "Satans Trampoline" & "Sumo Rabbit".

Known for their crazy on-stage antics, part theatre, part slapstick and part crowd aerobics workout session, but always 100% FUN! The band have decided if we are going to do this as a release, we are going to do it Lawnmower style..... so as well as regular CD, LP and T-shirts, and even unheard demo versions of the songs, you can pledge on actual Weebles, actual trampolines and actual, yes working, proper Lawnmowers. Not to mention the option to pledge to adopt a Sheep! You name it.

So sign up and pledge hard.
£7,000 is the total goal to reach. Your money doesn’t leave your account until the goal has been reached.

Risks and challenges
There is no risk to yourselves as the music already exists, this is a simple reprinting. We do not take any monies until the demand has been met.
Earache Records owns the rights to this album and artwork, originally printed by Earache in 1990. You can be assured that the quality is to our top standards and we can guarantee authenticity.
The only issues we could face are delays in the record and t-shirts being pressed, apart from that we rely on Royal Mail and couriers to get them to you.
*Please make sure if you are pledging for the clear vinyl package that your email address is current as we will email you for the size of t-shirt you need. We cannot ship until you have got back to us about this and will delay the shipping of your order.*
