In the City: Harbor is an expansion of In the City: Origins that adds a new column of ships to increase the drafting options each turn. This new column is unique because it rotates each turn, always providing interesting options. The Harbor also adds new creatures of each tier and new leaders!
In the City: Origins is a fun, dynamic, drafting game for 2-5 players. You take the role of one of the leaders of the city and recruit cards into your faction as you try to control your opponent's options. A drafting game is one in which each player takes turns picking cards from the selection available. In the City: Origins focuses on resource management, increasing selection options, and hurting opponents at crucial moments. The 100+ unique cards creates interesting game play with lots of replay potential. The In the City series further pushes these boundaries by creating dynamic leader-leader interactions that make leaders both feel different from one another and feel different when playing against particular leaders.

Risks and challenges
I have the base game ready to ship to all backers that choose it as their reward. The Harbor will be ready in August.
As a graduate student studying chemical engineering, it is sometimes difficult to balance my game design, research, and social life. Finding enough time can be difficult. I plan to overcome this obstacle by making sure I have 1-2 evenings a week to devote to play testing and developing and another evening each week to spend on the presentation end of the game (game boxes, card printing, etc).
Another challenge I face is receiving all the components in a timely manner. Sometimes shipping gets delayed or orders get mixed up. In these instances, I will be very clear with my backers and explain what happened and why the product is delayed. This usually is not a problem because I finish my games boxes, rules, etc. long enough before the deadline that a delay will not affect the release date. I always plan for the worst and hope for the best!
