WAVE 1 – Delivery time! (part 5)

Greetings Explorers,  

As indicated during our previous updates, we’ll be bringing you regular updates concerning the first wave of deliveries.  

Delivery Status  

Important: both Serious Poulp and our expedition partners have been receiving a very high quantity of emails requesting tracking numbers. Please do not contact us or any of our partners regarding this matter until we have announced (via updates like this) that shipping for your region has ended. Whilst we appreciate that you are all eager to start your adventure on the continent, the volume of emails we receive about the matter is making it very difficult to reply to backers that actually do have an issue with their games. Thank you for your understanding.  

Asia (VFI Asia)  

All packages have now left the VFI warehouse and you should have already received your games! The exception to this is Thailand and Philippines where the packages are still in transit. If you were meant to receive part or all your rewards in wave 1 and still haven’t by the end of next week then please contact us on kickstarter@seriouspoulp.com  

For the Philippines and Thailand: The packages will take a bit more time to reach you and should be arriving around the end of the month. Therefore, nothing to worry about before the 30th of April.  

Australia/New Zealand (Aetherworks)  

Wave 1 delivery is now finished. If you were meant to receive part or all of your rewards in wave 1 and still haven’t by the end of next week, then please contact us on kickstarter@seriouspoulp.com  

USA (Quatermaster Logistics)  

Delivery is in progress and should be ending within the end of next week. In the meantime, please do not worry if you haven’t yet received your tracking number and/or package yet.  

As it takes up to two weeks for your rewards to be delivered, there is no need for any concern until the 30th of April.  

United Kingdom (GameQuest)  

Wave 1 delivery is now finished. If you were meant to receive part or all of your rewards in wave 1 and still haven’t by the end of next week, then please contact us on kickstarter@seriouspoulp.com  

Canada (Snakes & Lattes)  

Delivery is in progress and should be ending within the next week or two. In the meantime, please do not worry if you haven’t yet received your tracking number and/or package yet.  

Germany (HappyShops)  

Wave 1 delivery is now finished. If you were meant to receive part or all of your rewards in wave 1 and still haven’t then please contact us on kickstarter@seriouspoulp.com

France / Europe / Middle-East / Africa / Central & South America / Rest of the World (Meeple Logistics)  

Delivery is in progress and should be ending within the next week or two. In the meantime, please do not worry if you haven’t yet received your tracking number and/or package yet.  

For “Rest of World” shipping, some destinations may take a lot longer to deliver to than others (this is why we asked for them to be sent out first), so no need to worry about the state of your delivery before the end of April.  

I’m meant to receive a package but haven’t had my tracking number yet.  

The wave 1 shipments should be on-going until the end of April (variable depending on the distribution centres). If all packages from the logistics centers for your region have not been shipped (of which you will be notified in one of these updates), please do not contact us - or the distribution centre - to obtain tracking information: it is likely that your package has simply not been shipped yet...  

If we are overloaded with messages related to parcel tracking we will not be able to process "priority" messages (emergency change of address, After-sales requests, “real” issues with parcel tracking, etc.) within a reasonable delay.

*Emails for these subjects may take up to a week to be processed but we will reply to you.

      I still haven't received tracking or item yet. USA should have heard something by yesterday right?

      Went to submit an after sales ticket but it only has the options of if I already received something and it was wrong. Not trying to be a bother but it was noted to be worried of something after the 30th of april... *shrug*

      Just a heads up here if you’re in Canada and still haven’t received your wave 1 game. I contacted Snakes and Lattes regarding shipping information. They DID NOT have my information and suggested I was in wave 2. I double checked CrowdOx and I’m supposed to be in “multiple” shipping waves after paying extra for two waves. I contacted Serious via “after sales” and Kickstarter email. Waiting on reply....

      Nice to have lots of news for Wave 1...for those expecting a wave 1 shipment. It'd be even nicer to get an update for the Wave 2 fulfillment (production, editing, etc.) for the rest of us who are patiently waiting. No news about it for months.

      The last update stated that delivery (USA, Quatermaster Logistics) should be complete by April 20th. Quatermaster Logistics posted on their Twitter account that the 7th Conentinent orders were picked up by FedEx on April 13th.

      I have not received a tracking number or any information regarding my delivery. I understand that you said it could take up to two weeks for delivery, but I expected to hear something from someone by this point - at least a tracking number.

      Can you please provide another update for those of us who are still in the dark regarding our orders?

      Wave 1 arrived in Central NJ. Packing was great with lots of peanuts between each of the items; no damage at all unlike my KDM main game which pretty much had the bottom caved in. Got the optional buy sleeves and they're great quality and fit with a decent number of them having extra sleeves. Very happy.

      You should wait until the end of the week, and if it hasn't shown by then, contact them.

      In the UK and haven't received my copy or any indication that it's on its way. Does that mean I should be contacting support? It says above that Uk has finished wave 1

      ->Your previous update also said that we should email if we still havent received our rewards and now you are telling us we are wrong to have emailed and disturbed you?

      With all due respect my friend I feel you may be grasping things by the wrong end of the stick here ^^’ This wasn’t an order or a complaint, just a courteous request to make things go more smoothly.
      The fact of the matter is that we receive hundreds of emails a week from people asking where their tracking numbers are and for 90% of them it’s simply because their packages haven’t been sent out yet so there is no tracking number to give them. These numbers are of course generated and sent out once the package is prepared and on its way. The caprices of technology mean that sometimes people don’t receive their tracking however (incompatible email clients, spam filters, etc), which explains why some people have their package turn up out of the blue.
      I’m glad that we were able to reply to your email positively, but your case is a minority one and a lot of the time SP are copy pasting the same generic reply over and over (after having spent a few minutes looking up the account, etc) which takes up a phenomenal amount of time. Bruno and Ludo are grafters so believe me, when they ask me to put a message like this out, it means they’re really swamped.
      Asking that backers only message us once shipping for their region is complete means that we can save a LOT of time, time that can go towards solving issues for backers that have gameplay impeding issues, shipping errors or just working on the next wave. Of course we want to help each and every backer but with 43k of you out there we have to do our best to prioritize.
      Once again, I feel you may have misconstrued our message. If it was badly formulated I apologise as it was never meant to offend.

      Oregano, Usa here, just got my game yesterday when I got home. Never saw tracking email but no Orrin’s.
      I do have a question though was sorting the cards and it looks like some dividers have no cards to go behind them, is this normal?

      "What we're asking is that people only contact us once their region's shipping has been delivered ;) This note only concerns people that are in a region undergoing delivery that haven't had their TN yet (because their package isn't ready). SP have been recieving buckets of emails on the subject, I've never seen so many people so impatient to get cursed!

      I find it disconcerting that you only intend to give people tracking numbers AFTER an entire region is supposedly fully delivered. What is the point of giving tracking numbers AFTER delivery instead of when they are shipped out by the delivery company? Tracking numbers should have been generated and emailed the time they ship out, not when they arrive at their destination.

      The fact that when I emailed, you gave me my tracking number in response immediately meant the tracking numbers had already been generated (and my rewards have shown it had left the warehouse weeks prior) shows that it is false that our package is not yet ready if we didn't receive our tracking number. Other backers from different regions are even now here saying that some of them didn't get their tracking number until they got their game or worse never got tracking at all even after the game arrived.

      I received an email shipping confirmation for the game, accessories and playmat and on the same day I received the items, but the playmat wasn't shipped. This was several days ago. Is the playmat coming in a separate shipment?

      Unboxed mine today. While unwrapping all the cards I found card A0207 was miscut at one corner and was packaged with the corner folded over. This also damaged three other cards. I sent a ticket through the website.

      Just received my package in central Canada. Looks beautiful but I pledged at the Rookie level and I don't see any of the extras that were stated as being in the first wave. As far as I can tell I have only received the base game. Did the first wave come in separate parts?

      @Sean Moser - It really depends on the severity of the color discrepancy, and also which cards are affected, and on your personal ability to ignore/disregard that extra information. It seems to vary pretty significantly depending on who you talk to.

      @ Jamie, you can check which waves you selected on the CrowdOx survey. You have to use the link emailed specifically for you. I found mine pretty easily by searching my email for "continent".

      How stupid.... Fed Ex just handed it off to the Post Office for an address I am 75% sure the Post Office doesn’t deliver to. Which is frustrating because I had it delivered to my friend in order to avoid the fact I was moving affecting the game delivery.

      US Backer: Thanks for the update! Shipping this many items across the world is one hell of a logistical puzzle, so I applaud you for even attempting it.

      I too got my tracking info late yesterday morning and saw that it had been delivered about two hours earlier! That was exciting. I unpacked it (and some sleeves and really sweet looking dice) and have been pouring over the rules.

      I haven't fully unpacked the game itself yet so I'll have to keep an eye out for the card printing discrepancy. I hadn't seen anything about that before this thread. If we are affected by the darker card backs does this make the game unplayable?
