Have you shipped all the calendars? I haven't received mine yet
@Ilga - absolutely, I plan to provide a general glossary of events directly in the printed calendar, and a deeper explanation for each zodiac month at Astrologicalendar.com. In the case of Jupiter's Opposition, this refers to its closet distance to Earth, indicating the most ideal time for view. In fact, here is any amazing view that includes the glow of the Moon https://www.flickr.com/photos/lrargerich/8148827726/
Looks wonderful! But Aquarius is ruled by Saturn, not Uranus! :-)
For example, after I announced to my co-workers that Venus was going into Pisces today (I think that is what "VENUS > Pisces" means), they said "And...?" and "Should we be happy for Venus or Pisces?" We clearly need a little knowledge over here.
What I am interested in seeing is astronomical events, like meteor showers, location of planets, etc. (as opposed to astrological events). But also definitions of what the astrological events mean. For example, what does "Jupiter in opposition" mean? So that I can learn more about that as well. Might be a good thing to include on the website.
Not sure if this request makes sense, as I am pretty ignorant about astrological things....
Thanks! I can't wait to send them your way.
The aerial images were actually taken out of the window seat of a couple dozen commercial airline flights over the the last two years, flying back and forth between DC and CA along different routes. It's tricky and you have to fight with the glass to get a clear shot, but when you do, there's some really spectacular views up in the air, even with the seatbelt fastened light on.
It started as a hobby inside of a constraint but without a context, but once I started working on the calendar, the meaning of the images fell into place and started to carry a deeper meaning to me.
I'm really excited to share the rest of series as I finish up the designs. More to come soon!
I love the photography on this calendar. How did you get the pictures for each month? Thanks and can't wait to receive my calendar!
