A full 25% of your daily intake in each packet. We’ve carefully curated the types of nutrients to make sure they’re bioavailable, soluble and don’t affect the flavor of the soup.
We recommend waiting until the soup has cooled to 160F or lower (or to eating temperature) before adding the Noodtrient™ packet in order to ensure maximum nutrition content. The most fragile vitamins are microencapsulated in order to help protect them, and additional vitamin C is added to further ensure adequate nutrition!

What’s the point of an instant ramen that doesn’t taste good?
Vite Ramen is a blend of the old and the new. The cutting edge tech and innovations of the modern era merged with traditional textures and tastes. The memories of broths bubbling away in mom's kitchen combined with the Michelin Star chef experience.
We created our ramen with traditional techniques, such as using kansui to adjust the pH of the noodles. Instead of using food coloring, the alkalinity creates a natural yellow color and gives the noodles the unmistakable “bite” and chew of real ramen.
Each of our broths are carefully crafted for a distinct, savory flavor profile that’s unlike any other instant ramen you’ve ever had. Designed to be enjoyed just as much the first time as the hundredth, these are comforting, delicious broths that makes life that much cozier.
We’ve included a number of vegetables, spices, and aromatics to make Vite Ramen the best instant ramen you’ll ever have. Each blend was carefully measured and designed to deliver flavor pairings that would engage your palette with savory tastes while filling your nose with a carefully curated, fragrant blend of spices and herbs.
With at least 27 grams of complete protein in each packet, Vite Ramen has as much protein as 4 oz of steak or 12 oz of tofu! We made our noodles to help keep you strong, even when you don't have time.
We went through many iterations of flour blends, before settling on a winning formula of wheat flour, vital wheat gluten, and quinoa. We also ensured that the protein in our ramen included all the necessary amino acid building blocks in order to create a complete protein.
Lysine and guar gum were also critical elements in making our ramen the best it can be. Additional lysine helped us round out the amino acid profile, as well as compensate for any destroyed during boiling. The addition of guar gum helped hydrate the noodles within 4 minutes, making even our high protein ramen instant!
Our ramen is better not just because of what’s in it, but also because of what’s not in it.
We all know instant noodles have a reputation for being filled with junk. Preservatives, deep frying, and the heaps of salt (just like your favorite video games!) are things of the past.
But what we can do is ensure that all of our ramen is made fresh and dehydrated quickly right here in the USA, where we can ensure traceability and accountability of ingredients used and working conditions.

Unlike many crowdfunding projects, we don’t just have an idea. We have a production facility that we put together from a shell, and it's ready to go. We've knocked down walls, assembled an entire microwave machine, and even polished the sinks! We're ready to get production going with your help.
We put a ton of time, effort and investment to learn how to do everything ourselves, so that you can be confident that we’re not pinching pennies, underpaying workers, or outsourcing to unscrupulous factories overseas that put who knows what into their ramen. We don't want to just make ramen, we want to make it ethically and conscientiously.
We’re twin brothers, Tim and Tom, who really love noodles. Tim went to culinary school and then worked the line at a few fine dining restaurants, including a Michelin Star restaurant, and then went back to college for Managerial Economics. Tom graduated UC Davis with a B.S. in Clinical Nutrition, and makes sure that Vite Ramen is nutritionally sound.
Our qualifications didn’t make us any more inclined to cook when we were busy, tired or stressed, though. With Tim demolishing shelves of instant ramen and Tom downing meal replacement shakes with equal regularity, we started looking for something that could bridge the gap: a meal that was fast, delicious, and packed with nutrients. Also preferably in noodle form.
Since then, we've been through dozens of recipes, thousands of hours of research, and countless sleepless nights bringing Vite Ramen to life. We've faced many naysayers, powered through failures and have eaten many more “research” instant noodles. Now we’re almost ready to turn the key and make Vite Ramen a reality, but we need your help to fulfill the minimum order quantities and get it started.
We couldn't have done this with just us two, though. We have a wonderful team and consultants to help us, whether it's advising us on things we hadn't thought of, helping us find our way around roadblocks, or even just providing much needed encouragement!

Risks and challenges
This is our first foray into food manufacturing, and as a small company, there will always be challenges. That’s why we’ve spent the past 2 years learning everything we can about making our noodles, gaining certifications, and carefully planning everything we need to do in order to make this thing work.
We recognize that we can’t learn everything ourselves, so we’re also working with wonderful and experienced food manufacturing consultants (EPIC413) to make sure making our ramen is done properly and by the highest standards. They'll be keeping a helpful eye on on things and catch anything we might have missed.
Unlike many Kickstarters, we’re ready to start manufacturing almost immediately, so there’s significantly fewer risks involved.
