About this project
For the past few years The Party Animals have been traveling the globe entertaining families of the US military and other organizations like Children's Cancer Research Fund, Bynum School for children with special needs and other community concerts. It has been extremely rewarding to see these kids smile, laugh and sing along with us. We often go out-of-pocket without a profit because we believe that all kids should have a chance to be entertained. The common statement wherever we go is always "You guys need to have your own TV show". We agree and now we want to give all of these kids, and others around the world, what they have been asking for…but we NEED YOUR HELP…"
LET'S MAKE A WEB SERIES FOR KIDS:
We want to use the money we raise to make 5 webisodes. If we surpass our goal we will make more. We will then distribute the show on our Website and YouTube channel and maybe even entice a bigger network like Disney or Nickelodeon to jump on board. Other companies like Netflix and Amazon are also looking for quality children's entertainment like The Party Animals. So with YOUR help we can make that happen. The Party Animals will be a musically driven, comedic show for children ages 2-6. It'll incorporate original pop/rock songs with hilarious adventures that will teach life lessons along the way. The Party Animals, along with their supporting cast will face daily conflicts and obstacles that they will always overcome with a song and a smile. The best way for me to explain the show would be like a modern day Zoobilee Zoo/Pee-Wee's Playhouse meets The Fresh Beat Band.
THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN:
Our goal is to make a show the whole family can enjoy. One that will make an impact on both child and parent alike. To do that we need your help. The more money we raise, the more ambitious we will be in creating this project and distributing it. We have already created most of the costumes and songs, but we still NEED HELP building the sets, making the props, writing the scripts, choreographing the dance numbers, hiring a crew and finding an editor who will help make our final product look AMAZING!! Our friends at Magic Beans and Pollution Studio's have generously loaned us their studio space to film the show so we just need this final push to get our project to COMPLETION.
The Party Animals:
The Party Animals is an interactive, Rock 'n Roll show for the whole family consisting of four lovable characters: Kaiya the Kangaroo, Walter the Fox, Brandon the Bear and Lance the Lion. Think of them as "KISS" for kids. Our supporting characters that help us out from time to time are Teeny and Tiny (stilt walkers), Sky Blue (aerialist), Bendy (contortionist), Tommy the Clown, Dee and Jay (twin sisters that finish each other sentences in rhyme) and DJ Penguin who will be mixing up the beats.
CHECK OUT THIS VIDEO TO MEET THE CAST:
The Party Animals Live started at The Colony Theater in Burbank, CA. We sold out all three shows in a matter of days and was a huge success. Armed Forces Entertainment then sponsored 12 shows over 18 days in Europe having us travel to England, Belgium, Germany, Norway and The Netherlands for military families stationed abroad. Once that tour ended, The Party Animals continued to make kids belly-laugh up and down the coast of California and over to Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. Armed Forces Entertainment then sponsored another 5 tours taking us to Guantanamo Bay, Guam, Japan, and Bahrain.
Fast-forward to today and The Party Animals have performed over a hundred shows to thousands of kids. In April we will be traveling to the Mediterranean to perform 11 shows in five more countries. The Party Animals have performed at Universal City Walk, LA Live and Levitt's Pavilion in McArthur Park and Pasadena. We have performed private events for The Screen Actors Guild, The Four Seasons in San Diego and The Farmers Market in Hollywood as well as shows in Maryland, Texas and Tennessee.
