Gabrielle Louise is an intrepid artist and a fearless performer who is as eccentric as she is charismatic. She has a dedicated and diverse following that represents a decade of heavy touring and hundreds of concerts.
If the Static Clears is as dauntlessly artistic as her previous works and even more refined. Though it was created with the same spirit and essence as any of her other endeavors, it is by far the most accessible yet creatively bold collection of songs to date. If the Static Clears promises to be a cornerstone of Gabrielle's career. It is imperative that this record is properly promoted and published; that it receive adequate exposure and a chance to be heard. Those of us on her team, who have watched If the Static Clears come to life, feel very strongly that we can and should expose it to as many listeners as possible. And we can only do it with your help.
We've cut no corners in it's creation, from recording in state of the art studios to hiring the best graphic designers, all of which will be nearly pointless unless it's accessible to a wider public (think merch case at shows vs. syndicated radio airplay). However, our pockets are inside out at this point, and we need your support to make it to the finish line. If you're in, here's where your donation will go:
Gabrielle has received commitments from Brad Paul Media and Karen Leipziger Press to join her promotional team and campaign on her behalf. What does this mean?
Brad Paul Media (Radio Promotions) and Karen Leipziger/KL Productions (Press) have worked with artists as diverse as Alison Krauss, Robert Plant, Aerosmith, Pete Anderson, Steve Martin, and Paul Simon. Nationally syndicated radio bookings arranged by Brad and Karen on their artist's behalf have included NPR, World Café, Mountain Stage, eTown, WoodSongs, Acoustic Café, West Coast Live, Folk Alley, Music City Roots and Sirius XM Radio. After an amazing 29 year run at the prestigious independent record label Rounder Records, Brad Paul started Brad Paul Media in 2013 promoting music to Americana, AAA and folk radio. In just three years he has garnered tens of thousands of radio spins for over one hundred clients. Karen has garnered print press in publications like the Rolling Stone and the Associated Press, as well as arranged television appearances on shows like Late Night with Conan O' Brian and Late Night with David Letterman!
It's going to take them roughly four months of applying their expertise and professional connections to the If the Static Clears campaign.
We're asking you, who know and love Gabrielle's work already, to help her take the next pivotal step in her career, which is exposure to a larger public. We're asking you to be her record label.

Risks and challenges
The biggest risk and challenge for a new release is exposure. It's easy to drop the ball after the creative process is complete. However, this creates a still born, and many fantastic records have perished this way. This is why continuing on, through the arduous "business" aspects of releasing a record, is so important to the lifespan of a CD.
As with any campaign, however, sending a copy of a press release to the papers does not necessarily ensure it see will print. However, statistically speaking, the more press releases that can be sent, the bigger the chances! That's why we want to work with a team of publicity professionals to make sure this record really does get heard by a wide audience.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
