In a world of wimpy "do whatever you feel like" role-playing games... In a time of complicated and restrictive game systems... One game will bring players and game masters the tools they need to play cinematic adventures without sacrificing game mechanics.
Drive-In Pulp is a new supplement for the Pulp Adventure RPG. The supplement brings new rules, advantages, archetypes, opponents and scenarios to the table to create a world of B-Movie action, adventure, horror and even comedy.
Special rules simulate the structure and sometimes cheesy story lines and behavior in classic grindhouse, b-movie and exploitation cinema. New Advantages help to highlight unique features found in low-budget films. Several new archetypes include; Mutant Animals, Glamazons and even Shaolin Priests.
Four Scenarios are included in the base book (though stretch goals may increase that number). The scenarios range from Horror to Sexploitation Comedy.
"Grindhouse Girls" (aka The Popcorn Girls): the gang inherits a beat up movie theater from a kindly and creepy old man. The goal is to fix the place up and figure out a way to make some money from it to finance a South American Cruise.
"Dead Reich" (aka The Experiment): a South American cruise turns into a trip into terror for the gang as they stumble across Hitlers final plan to defeat his enemies. What begins as an exotic vacation turns into a fight for survival!
"Pulp Race 2000": in the future, mankind has done away with war and crime. The only violent outlet for the public is the government sanctioned "Pulp Race" wherein the participants score points by mowing down those foolish enough to be on the streets during the race. However, not everyone condones the race--beware the deadly "Plotagonian" rebels and their attempts to stop the race.
"Pandora's Boxxx: takes the gang to the set of the first interracial adult film where there is more going on than what happens between the sheets. The gang must go undercover to get to the bottom of the many disappearances and catastrophes around the set. This one has it all, sex, violence, midgets, demons, magic and a hole lot more.
"Show me the Way": A road trip from Los Diablos, California to El Rey Mexico for a festival of music is a great opportunity for fun and frolicking until the gang discovers that there is a killer on the road and he has more than music on his mind. This classic road trip style adventure takes place almost entirely on the highways of the southwest and combines elements of carsploitation, slasher movies and sexplotation.
"Terror in the Philippines": The Philippines, exotic and enticing can also be dangerous and deadly. When the gang is snatched while on vacation, they are taken to an island prison camp where they are held captive by savage female guards. They must escape before the warden tires of them and has them put to death--death by catapult!
Once the goal of $1,000 has been met, several additions will be made at the following dollar amounts.

$1.500: At this level, I will add an additional scenario from the selection of scenarios used during our play-test.
$1,750: At this level, I will add a sixth scenario from the selection of scenarios used during our play-test.
$2,000: At this level, I will add an additional Archetype to the book bringing the total to five new archetypes.
$3,000: At this level, I will add a signed mini-poster of the cover art for each supporter who receives a physical product.
$5,000: At this level, each supporter who receives a physical product will receive a Pulp Adventure t-shirt with the Pulp Adventure logo on the front to let everyone know you support the "World's Greatest Pulp RPG".
Risks and challenges
Being that this is my seventh book in the Pulp Adventure line, there are very little in the way of challenges to be expected. The only factors which may influence the fulfillment of the project are play-testing and time. The delivery goal reflects these factors, however, as well all know, life has a way of making things challenging, so there might be some delays.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
