Founded in October 2011, Hulgreen Productions is the creative force behind the award winning Bang and Bump Show. After an inspirational trip to New York City and a chance meeting with former Sesame Street Muppet Captain Kevin Clash; Dave Hulteen, Jr. and Jerome Green set out to create their own puppet show. Finding two store bought and generic monster puppets, Dave and Jerome created a simple buddy style duet video naming the puppets "Bang" and "Bump" after the respective sounds monsters make in the night. The video caused enough attention for the two to make a regular series. "The Bang and Bump Show" grew in popularity quickly, and Dave and Jerome combined their last names to make "Hulgreen Productions."
In order to set Bang and Bump apart from other internet puppet shows, the monsters were redesigned and custom built by professional puppet builders, and Hulgreen set a standard to film with high standards. Both in production value and family friendly entertainment. This commitment to good old fashioned humor with a fresh new look, and without sacrificing content, the show quickly amassed a significant audience on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. They have been interviewed by the Australian magazine Kid Zone, Bang and Bump have filmed commercial spots that were shown at the Jingle Ball in Madison Square Garden, been heard on New York's number one hit music station Z100, have performed internationally at large convention centers, and won two Videographer Awards for Best On Screen Talent and Best Web Series.
Hulgreen Productions has also collaborated with other creative groups to create art, animation, and special effects for non-profit organizations like the Salvation Army. Recently Bang and Bump even appeared on the jumbo–tron in Yankee Stadium.
Hulgreen Productions has always been committed to producing fun, creative, and especially family friendly material with outstanding production value. To date, they have done so without earning a single dollar. Due to unforeseen circumstances, "The Bang and Bump Show" has had to take a hiatus as they no longer have use of their previous studio setup and are now looking to begin production on the latest season of the show. They are anxious to bring back Bang, Bump, Zero, Nada, and the rest as well as new and fun characters and need your assistance through Kick Starter to get back on track. They have been so excited to bring you regular entertainment, that even during this hold up, they have focused on animating your favorite purple and blue monsters!
Hulgreen Productions has continued writing, collaborating, and consulting so that when they do return, "The Bang and Bump Show" will be better than ever. Your pledges will be used responsibly to return the Bang and Bump Show for another season of fun to computer screens all over the world!

Hulgreen Productions is the brain child of two young men with big dreams and desires to entertain all of you and make you laugh and smile with your whole family.
Originally all the way from Melbourne, Australia, Jerome Green performs the sweet natured purple monster Bang, the assistant Nada, and Ed the sound engineer. Jerome is the director of the show, and is meticulous for consistently making the show look perfect.
Jerome is a professional producer, editor, and filmographer with a degree in performing arts. As a music major, he is also an extremely multitalented musician; playing drums, bass guitar, piano, and a bevy of brass instruments as well. Jerome is also a composer who has written original music numbers for the show in a variety of styles.
Dave Hulteen, Jr.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Dave Hulteen, Jr. performs the punchy blue monster Bump, the director Zero, cameraman "The Captain", as well as several one shot characters. Dave is head writer for the show and makes it a personal goal to regularly bring production to a screeching halt by distracting Jerome and any assisting crew by making them laugh uncontrollably.
Dave is a professional graphic designer and illustrator. He is a nationally recognized and respected award winning artist who's work has appeared in several books and publications. Dave has also done journalist writing for news groups, script writing for local theater, and ad writing for large retailers.
Risks and challenges
The only concern Hulgreen faces at this time is filming locations. Tentatively, the space they have recently acquired is subject to last minute schedule changes. However, part of their budget is allocated toward backdrops which will allow them to film virtually anywhere that people are not afraid of large monster puppets. Aside from that, unless the internet collapses in on itself, they are confident they are up to most any challenges due to their extensive professional experience.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
