The reason we can't include tickets is because we have nothing to do with ticket sales... they are all handled by the local venues, promoters, symphonies, etc.
The other reason is that every single city/country we play sets the prices of their tickets differently as every show has it's own budget, restrictions, taxes, etc. Their is also a wide variety among seating and ticket prices for every show which would make it very difficult to calculate the true value and cost for everyone.
And the final reason that we make it a separate thing is sometimes a family of 4 wants to see the show and sit together, but only one of them want to go to the V.I.P. Experience. By having tickets separate it allows more people to afford to go to the show as I would hate the idea of an entire family having to upgrade massively on all of their tickets just for one person. Also, by keeping it separate it allows the V.I.P. folks to chose any ticket that is in their price range as opposed to being forced into the "best seat in the house" which may be out of their price range. A lot of times someone will buy a $15 ticket in the back then upgrade to the $100 V.I.P.!
The V.I.P. Backstage Experience is REALLY COOL! Hope to see everyone backstage soon! :)
