Name: Chub Chub 9000
Description: The Chub Chub is a non-lethal rifle that immobilizes targets with a rapid expansion of the target's body mass (adding approx. 100 pounds a second, for up to five seconds). Developed almost two decades ago during the Civitas Sanctuary endowments, it's now seen as juvenile, if not archaic, and is no longer in use. There's only a few cops left who still have access to one, and even fewer who're crass enough to use it. For commencement of the 24-hour deflation process, immobilized targets can be brought to any CNPD, or a licensed med center.
Stats: On a successful hit, the target is severely immobilized, perhaps by different degrees if possible (depending on if they blossomed to 300, 400, or 500 lbs). They will also be more inclined to cooperate, in hopes that their new body isn't permanent.
On a failed roll of 1, the old rifle explodes, and, instead, instant karma causes you to become unexpectedly and severely obese within a matter of seconds. You also lose reputation.
Name: BREXIT 2000
There are rumors about a historical event, happened a long time ago. Nobody exactly knows the details of this spectacle, but everybody frightens when talkin' about. This weapon represents all the fear, people feel about this "THING".

Name: V.I.P.E.R. (Versatile Ionic Photons Emitting Rifle)
Description: Named on the snakes able to see even the IR, this rifle is not only a death deliver but posses most advanced technology in quantistic analysis. In fact, it is able to project a beam of photons that can bounce against ostiles located even around the corner. The quantistic computer implemented in its scope can analyze the bounced back photons and recreate in image in the LCD. Unfortunately this process is not completely reliable yet and the emitted photons not always are correctly analyzed.
Abilities: when you deal with engagement trials automatically get +2 (to be tuned).
Whenever you have to reveal an EC you can spend 5 (ditto) ion charges to release a photon beam. Roll a D10:
1-3 no image available: reveal EC and lose 1 (see above) stat.
4-6 raw image available: reveal EC and gain 1 (ditto) stat.
7-10 perfect image: ignore all the effect on the EC (encounter avoided).
Last line it's not "if you half" but "if you do, half"
Name: Deadeye (revised after reading manual)
Description: this rifle is currently deployed as an army weapon. It doesn't require any ammo since ion charges are used to generate small amount of plasma shot through the barrel at close-to-light speed. The LCD display allow its user to set a target and follow it even through walls. It can be linked to "The Prophet" via Bluetooth interface in order to aim directly what the user is looking at.
Abilities: Use two Ion charges to shoot to any target in sight. Roll a d10 and then a d6 for every shot: if the second launch is lower or equal than the first one you win the engagement trial.
You can spend one additional ion charge to track the target if you half the result of the d6. If you have "The prophet" this effect doesn't require any additional ion charge.
Description: An unpredictable piece of hardware. Using the liquid crystal display to find a weak point in any system and firing condensed voltaic projectile, Fracture is capable of momentarily severing the electrical link in any biological organism or structure, thus scrambling the target.
Ability: Roll 1-3: Misfire and scramble your partner. They take 1 damage. Roll all of their D6 dice. (Reputation, Ether, and Ion) These are their new values.
Roll 4-10: Randomly assign new values to every number on a witness or location card of your choosing.
Notes: By “partner” I mean if this is equipped to your Rookie, then you’ll end up shooting at your detective, and vise versa. I would also write down the new values of the WC and LC when you randomize them. :)
Upgrade name: Aegis Quantum Ion Lance
This quantum Ion lance was developed by one of the oldest living detectives in the entire civitas.
Developed primarily for the complete demolecularization of crime Lords from this dimension. Using quantum Ion particle physics, it can completely eliminate the physical and digital existence (social network) of any target.
The Lance was named Aegis after the mythical gods shield in the protection and support of all civitas citizens and legitimate organizations.
Aegis Lance tech is extremely advanced and very few people in the civitas know of its development let alone its use.
The Aegis Quantum Ion Lance has two modes of output:
Witness nano particle 'short term memory access' rounds:
Nano tech quantum computer AI.
When shot at witness' the imbedded rounds nanotech quantum AI can locate and activate the short term memory stores of the witness via the social network. (The user can view this via the liquid crystal display) Sending a relay signal to the data banks of the social network, resulting in the truth of the witness being uncovered.
Roll 1-3:Remove 1 evidence
Roll 4-7: Remove 3 evidence
Roll 8-10 : Remove 4 evidence and gain personal banking information from witness, add 4 ether to resource.
Encounter - Ion Charge Quantum rounds:
Rookie equipment only.
Usable only twice in a campaign
The rookie can charge the Quantum Ion Lance at the cost of 6 ion per use.
Using quantum Ion particle physics, the round results in the complete demolecularization of the chosen target. The targets physical and digital existence will be wiped from this dimension.
Roll 1-2: Failure of roll results in ion charge lance overheating causing 2 wounds to rookie and the next usage to double in ion cost.
Roll 3-6: A quantum field envelops the charged Ion round, ripping through space and time to elimate the target at any location
Roll 7-10: The charged ion round eliminates not only the targets physical form but prior to complete elimination a connection to the social networks data bank is made, completely removing any digital trace of the target. This dimensional effect raises your combined reputation pool by a D10 roll.

Name: Enter the name of the upgrade
Description: This gun utilizes Ion charges to create a temporary Wormhole between the muzzle and its intended destination. The LCD display allows for adjusting of the exit point in relation to the barrel, allowing this weapon to 'shoot through walls', avoid friendly fire or embed specialized equipment into a host. Rumoured that Mastery of this weapon can cause a target's heart to stop by inserting foreign bodies into their bloodstream.
Abilities: Choose to gain a new witness through mind control implantation, or to use it offensively in a Trial
Roll 1-3, Failure, You set the exit point too far.
Roll 4-9, Success -, Replace a Witness or Increase any roll to complete a trial by 1
roll 10, Success, Draw three witnesses and Choose one to replace a current Witness or increase any roll to complete a trial by 2

Name: The Immobilizer
Description: The Immobilizer is a terrifying, heavy duty piece of hardware. It fires a thick electrified chain around any target, instantly stopping them in their tracks. Any uncooperative witness on the receiving end of this will wish they had assisted in your investigation from the get-go.
Ability: Roll 1-3: Overheats. Take (1-2?) damage. (Also look down below for another suggestion.)
Roll 3-10: Fire. Place a witness in a locked WC space. Their qualifiers are halved. Draw another witness. Lose 2 reputation.
Side Notes (Not on card): My reasoning behind drawing another witness is because when I picture the character shooting and immobilizing a witness, they’ll scare another one into coming forward. Or as one witness is immobilized, the character can search the area for another witness in the meantime.
You lose reputation simply because the use of this gun is frowned upon. It’s painful to be on the receiving end.
(Possibly on card): When rolling a 1-3, The Immobilizer overheats, so maybe you could lose -2 on future engagement rolls in addition to the damage, seeing as your hands have gotten painfully crispy from it. It’d be hard to use your hands in a fight. Just another idea. :)
