The Niteskool Music Video is an annual project at Northwestern University in which over fifty students come together to make a professional quality music video for a student band. This year the Niteskool Music Video Artist is Young Jesus, a local Chicago band that just released their debut album, "Home." The track featured in the video is entitled "Fallin' For You," and the entire album is available for whatever amount you can afford to pay here.
Although Niteskool receives a generous grant from the School of Communication, the large scale of the shoot and the high production value of the video necessitates fundraising. We have already begun to raise money, but we still need your support to make the film its best. If we don't reach our goal, we won't receive anything, so every dollar really counts. Your generous donations will go towards covering the costs of camera and equipment rentals, a professional coloring session, special effects work, festival submission and distribution fees, and much more.
The crew, cast, and band have all been hard at work for this past year, with our efforts culminating in a jam-packed shoot weekend which has just wrapped! Below you'll find some links to time lapses of the crew at work created by our very own Nate Bartlett! The music video will premiere on June 2 to an audience of over 300 at Northwestern, but we still need your help to make the final product as good as we know it can be. Thank you for checking out our page and please donate if you can!
