"Whether you spent many an hour playing “Rampage” in the arcade or just enjoy the thought of large monsters beating each other up, you’d be remiss to not have at least checked this game out."
-Dad's Gaming Addiction
Monster Mania is a loving homage to kaiju movies and video games such as Rampage and War of the Monsters. Utilize take that, resource management, and battling game mechanics while 18 monsters throw their weight around a massive city, gaining attack points and destroying everything in sight! Defeat 5 of your opponent's monsters and you win!

Each Monster has its own set of unique attacks and well as flavor text which either details the monster's origin or its latest meal...
Environmentals are what make Monster Mania so fun...nothing like throwing an Airplane to solve your problems.
Support cards keep your skin glowing...or is that the radiation?
Counter cards are kept in your hand to play at the perfect time to annoy your opponent.
"Get your "destroy on" with Monster Mania...This tabletop game...has amazing artwork...The diverse card choices and fun objects made this game a real treat to play."
"While Monster Mania’s giant monster battling theme was what originally intrigued me about the game, in the end what really sold me on the game was the gameplay. Basically Monster Mania plays like a combination of various CCGs like Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh. If you like card games like Magic the Gathering, Pokemon, or Yu-Gi-Oh I think you will enjoy your time with Monster Mania and should consider picking it up."
"Yes, I enjoyed my time with “Monster Mania”. While the premise is barbaric at its core (to which I’m not complaining), the number of different cards available almost ensures that two games will never be the same. Everything from the names of the monsters and their stats/attack moves to the various support cards and their unique effects proves that a lot of TLC went into the making of this title. The team and solo variants were a nice touch and frankly, pushes the fun factor and replayability over the top...Yes, there are plenty of card brawlers out on the market. This one, mostly in part to the color scheme and theme, really drew me in...Whether you spent many an hour playing “Rampage” in the arcade or just enjoy the thought of large monsters beating each other up, you’d be remiss to not have at least checked this game out."
"It's basically a monster bash free for all...The artwork's pretty cool...It's quick to play, easy to learn...As the game stands it's a very simple, yet nice take that game with some unique little aspects to it. It's very simple for kids and family members to understand and learn how to play the game. The board is easy to use as well. This does feel like one of those games that I think a family type of gaming environment is going to enjoy...Overall it's a solid little monster take that style tableau management card game."
"So as you can see, Monster Mania is a really good card game. It's fun, it's easy to learn, the rules are simple. It's got a lot of solo options in the back of it for different combinations of monsters that you can beat and different modes that you can play; it's really fun...It's a great game, it's pretty strategic...the monsters are great, the illustrations are great...really really easy to understand, really simple card mechanics...it's a great game all around."
"Monster Mania has a really entertaining theme for fans of sci-fi, fantasy, and monster/horror movies...The art on the monsters is really colorful and creative...Monster Mania provides a solid battling format...The monsters themselves are amusing and distinct and help the theme shine through...Monster Mania has creative Monsters and interesting action cards that can alter the powers and outcomes of the monster-on-monster battles...Overall, we enjoyed the entertaining new take on a battling card game."
“I really enjoy the art on Monster Mania…we’re gonna have to give Taylor Tate 10 Leaves for art! And Josh in his game design, the game plays excellent…If you’re big into strategy, then this is a great card game for you…Overall I really love this game.”
"You really do get a lot of cards...I really enjoyed this. It's simple enough to get into with a good amount of choices, a good amount of cards to keep things interesting. It's a great beginner card battling game, but it does have enough to keep veterans interested. The artwork is pretty interesting. I would keep an eye for it. This is definitely one to keep an eye on...Balance already feels pretty good from what I've experienced."
"There are some really really fun combos and strategies that you can build up as the game progresses...every single time you play it you are going to have a new and varied experience...it's giant monsters and robots, you know, beating the heck out of each other while laying waste to a city, so what's not to love about that? So, if you are looking for a cool little battle game that you wanna play with your family or your gaming group, I would strongly suggest you check out Monster Mania-I think you'll enjoy it a great deal."
"With Monster Mania, players have the chance to lead an army of monsters into an all-out rumble...While solid gameplay keeps Monster Mania engaging play time and again, the best draw of all is the strong kaiju theme. The game features a host of monsters with delightfully punny names like the giant cobra Venom S, lava-based Volpanic, animated oak Tree-mendous, Gi-Ant, Terrorsaur, and so many more. The power-ups from support cards, counters, and environments feature thrown semi-trailers, tanks used as clubs, and everything a kaiju fan could want. Fun art and smirk-worthy flavor text are the icing on the enormous cake."
We have teamed up with Vinson Games and are ready for the manufacturing process once we receive funding!
We will be handling all fulfillment for Monster Mania! We handled the fulfillment for our previous game, Frontier The Card Game, so we already have experience!
JOSH MCMURRAY – DESIGNER, MARKETING, COMPOSER, OWNER OF MEET ME AT THE TABLE GAMES
Josh McMurray has loved tabletop games his entire life. So much so, that he decided in 2017 to start his own tabletop gaming company. With now almost two games under his belt (Frontier The Card Game and Monster Mania), he’s ready to create even more. Josh is happily married and lives in St. Louis, MO with his amazing wife Elizabeth McMurray, his first born son Daxter, and their two kitties, Scarlett and Remington. Josh loves creating games and music in his spare time (of which he has very little!).
TAYLOR TATE – ARTIST, GRAPHIC DESIGNER, ANIMATION
Taylor Tate is wonderfully skilled in the field of art, and Monster Mania illustrates that! Taylor has displayed perseverance time and time again, as she took a big brunt of Josh’s compulsive demands and completed them with 100% effectiveness. She also used her incredible skills to craft the Monster Mania Kickstarter video. She has her own company, Tate Digital Art, and is looking forward to tackling new projects for Meet Me At The Table Games.
LUKE KRIEFALL – LEAD PLAYTESTER, VOICE ACTING
Luke Kriefall is still the only undefeated Monster Mania player! He naturally accepts all challengers and has a gift for concocting strategy. Luke has spent many hours playing Monster Mania and helping make it perfect; he is always willing to offer insight and play at a moment’s notice. He even supplied his exceptional vocal skills to narrate the Monster Mania Kickstarter video! Luke’s favorite games include Yu-Gi-Oh, Monster Mania (of course!), and Resident Evil Deck Building Game. He is happily married to his wife Kayleen Kriefall in Pacific, MO.
A.J. BURGETT – LEAD CONSULTANT
A.J. Burgett has always had a penchant for gaming, whether it be tabletop or video games (preference being tabletop). He has offered his assistance on consulting Frontier The Card Game and Monster Mania, and has continued to provide constructive feedback for most of Josh’s unreleased titles. A.J.’s favorite games include Resident Evil Deck Building Game, Specter Ops, BattleLore, Smash Up, and Bang!. When A.J. isn’t helping Meet Me At The Table Games, he is trying out new board games.
Risks and challenges
This is our second Kickstarter project and we have learned quite a bit from our first endeavor, and while this is a relaunch, we feel as though we have made positive changes that not only benefit us as a company, but the backers as well. Every project comes with its share of risks, including shipping and manufacturing delays. With our previous Kickstarter, Frontier The Card Game, we were able to deliver as close as we could to our predicted schedule. We already have a manufacturer, Vinson Games, aligned for Monster Mania and are communicating closely with them in regards to making sure all of the copies are sent out on time. We will be doing the fulfillment for Monster Mania but never fear; we already have plenty of experience doing fulfillment with Frontier The Card Game! We will keep every backer updated as often as we can and will answer any questions. Unfortunately, at this time, we are not offering international shipping due to inflated shipping costs. If you are an international backer and are interested in backing Monster Mania, please drop us a comment or contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. All of the artwork for the game is finished, and the only thing we need for Monster Mania to become a reality is your help with funding; we are very confident in this project and we know you will love it!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
