We welcome you to join us on an important, exciting and ground-breaking adventure: Creating a global beer brand - with a purpose. We believe that the world of business stands at a critical juncture. Business is no longer purely a wealth creator, but rather an engine of progress and change, able to harness the resources and creativity necessary to tackle the largest challenges of the day. Not For Sale Ale was created to fight modern-day slavery (forced labor with no option to leave).
Not For Sale Ale impacts in three ways:
- It informs, by shedding light on the fact that more than 48 million people (men, women and children) live in slavery.
- It raises money, with 100% of the profit invested in the fight against modern-day slavery. All involved partners such as producers, distributors and sales channels like restaurants and bars etc keep their normal profit as for sales of other brands.
- It creates jobs in regions where the are few economic opportunities, leading to increased risk of human trafficking.

Our adventure began in Sweden, with our launch at the Royal Palace in Stockholm in 2014. Today we produce Not For Sale Ale in Sweden, the Netherlands, Uganda and in the United States, in partnership with some of the best craft breweries in the world. Now we need to scale. With your support, we will build the brand globally, and we will create a global distribution network. Your support will also enable us to make social media marketing campaigns to get the brand recognised in your neighbourhoods!
After two years of tireless voluntary work by a great number of dedicated people and supporting companies, we are now at a stage where we are ready to scale the project. All necessary resources for this scaling is mostly in place (e.g. for production and product development etc.). But we need funds to invest in building up our distribution network, and that’s the reason for this Kickstarter campaign. It will make you a co-traveller on our amazing journey, and co-creator of this unique global brand.
If we through the campaign reach more than our pledged amount of 250,000 SEK, the additional funds will be used in the following way:
250,000 SEK – 400,000 SEK Launch of a 0% Not For Sale Ale IPA
400,000 SEK – 500,000 SEK Create a seminar platform in partnership with Impact HUB to promote social impact business ideas
500,000 SEK – 750,000 SEK Create an app that enables a subscription model for purchasing Not For Sale Ale for bars, with online statistics and stories linking the financial support generated by Not For Sale Ale to the impact made on the ground.

The beverage market and beer market in particular is an extremely competitive market. Everyday new beer brands enter the market and new Craft Beer initiatives are growing continuously all around the world. In this challenging business environment, there is a strong need for a clear brand message and a WHY that connects to the consumers.
