A prototype is a preliminary model of something. Projects that offer physical products need to show backers documentation of a working prototype. We Want It All. Spinning, Clicking, Rolling, Gaming...
The Spinner Cube comes equipped with a high quality clickable joystick, a classic gamer trigger, five clickable buttons (four make noise, one is silent), three rolling metal balls and two precision bearings with spiral grooved caps.
With the flick of a finger the Spinner Cube spins up to 60 seconds* but when shaken softly, it can spin indefinitely and provide an arm strengthening workout. *Spin time will vary depending on spin force.
Both bearing sides of the cube include a spiral grooved bearing cap to increase grip strength and tactile comfort. Rub the spiral grooves for a satisfying texture or rotate each cap for a volume dial sensation.
Three rolling metal balls with a clickable feature form a trifecta of fidgeting entertainment. Roll and click them separately or together and massage your fingers.
Five soft rubber buttons in a target formation will satisfy all pen-clickers. Four outer arrow buttons make different audible tones and the center circle button is silent for quiet environments. Take that, quiet waiting rooms.
A high quality joystick with precision control and a clickable top feature will satisfy your inner gamer when you need to unplug from the daily routine.

We're not baby boomers, but we do know quality. We designed the Spinner Cube to be extremely durable with just the right weight. Not too small but not too big, you can easily slip the Spinner Cube into your pocket for on-the-go fidgeting, without worrying about losing your grip on it. The Idiot Genius Inventors
Hi, Mitchell Sorkin and Will Gasner here, inventors of the Spinner Cube. We’re serial entrepreneurs in our 20's with a mission to produce high-quality simple products that make difficult problems easier for people around the world.
After graduating from college we pursued various business ventures ranging from mobile apps and web development to jewelry and cutting boards. After moving from little Rhode Island to California in October 2016, we came up with the idea to develop the Spinner Cube.
We set out with a goal to combine the best features that would satisfy the most popular fidgeting habits, and actually help people cope with anxiety in stressful and distracting situations. We also wanted to make a fidget spinner with the longest spin time to create the ultimate fidgeting device.
Our final creation, the Spinner Cube, will feed your need to fidget, let you spin indefinitely and help you deal with everyday stress so you can stay focused on what’s important in life.
What We Did & Where We Are
We came up with the idea to create a new "revolutionary" fidget toy about one year ago in October of 2016. After months of research, hundreds of sketches, dozens of prototypes, and countless hours of engineering and tests, the final design of the Spinner Cube was finished in February of 2017.
We worked with local engineers and designers throughout February to get our final product ready for manufacturing. Then we went through the tedious process of finding the perfect manufacturer who could spearhead our production, stay within our manufacturing budget, and had ethical conditions for their workers.
After a series of Skype calls we found some trustworthy companies that would fit our needs. We decided we would spend the last of our savings and fly to China to work directly with the manufacturers to ensure that our product came out as we had imagined and nothing slipped through the cracks.
We flew to China for three weeks during March 2017. After dozens of factory tours we locked down an amazing manufacturing facility to work with and started production of our molds. After returning from China financially depleted we decided to turn to Kickstarter to help us with the last steps of production.
We need your help to place a minimum order of Spinner Cubes! If our campaign is a success, we will send over the final payment to our manufacturers the day our campaign ends and start the first round of Spinner Cube production.

Even though studies have shown various benefits to fidgeting, we can’t claim that the Spinner Cube has any medical benefits or that it can cure, treat, or prevent an illness or condition. We incorporated features that satisfy common fidgeting habits and designed them to be discrete and usable in all environments. We look forward to taking the next step with the Kickstarter community. Risks and challenges
This is a low risk project. This is our first Kickstarter campaign but not our first startup venture. We’ve been dreaming and creating for the last 12 years on businesses varying from jewelry to mobile apps.
We’ve already done all the hard lifting for the Spinner Cube and we just need your help to place our first order. If we get flooded with more orders than expected, we have prepared for increased production capabilities and we should be able to send backer rewards promptly without delays. We will constantly keep the community informed about our final steps and notify everyone if our plans in anyway get hindered.
We will collect your Spinner Cube color style choice (Ether, Spark, Flow, or Bloom) after our campaign is over. If you fail to respond to our Spinner Cube color style request in time, we will pick a color combination for you at random.
We will keep the community updated on our manufacturing process at the end of the campaign to make sure no backer is left in the dark about their rewards! We want to make sure everyone gets their holiday gifts on time this year!
