Growing Food on Staten Island is a web documentary about gardeners and the food they grow. Many of the gardeners featured have been gardening for decades and possess a deep knowledge of cultivation and food heritage. Since we all need to eat,  It's important to document, archive and share their gardening know-how. As grow local movements across the country flourish, it's important to build on the wisdom of those who came before us.

The funds raised will go directly towards creating the Growing Food on Staten Island web documentary, where the videos can be archived for all to see. Thank you.

Risks and challenges

I am working with a trusted web developer. The videos have been shot over a period of five summers, they now need to be edited. I have full faith that this project will be seen through to completion.
