Lantern Fun!

I headed over to hang out with Brendan from Yes Press in Oakland (he is doing all of the amazing t-shirts for Bosavi).  Today we did some tests on printing a logo on the lanterns.

This was just a screen that Brendan had laying around.  The plan is for the Bosavi logo to run vertically.  We are also thinking about running it on the inside of the lantern so it only shows when the light is on.  Thanks Brendan!  If any of you are looking to get high quality shirts made here in the US please check out Yes Press

I am also about to make some technical decisions on the construction of the headlamp that may take the product one step closer to being fully waterproof.  Stay tuned for a debate on the costs/benefits of that decision (coming soon).

And we have had a lot of success in getting featured on some great blogs in the past couple of days.  Please check them out here:
Gizmag   - covers the full spectrum of new and emerging technologies, invention, innovation, and science news.
The Boilerwerks  - also a good place to find out some more info about the awesome Backcountry Boiler.
To The Max - You will see perhaps the worst video ever taken of me.  Max was holding the camera at chest level and I wasn't sure if I should look at him or the camera.  Turns out if you look at both you look crazy!

And we have a new entry for the power animal submitted by James May.  I love it!

We have one week left.  Don't forget to spread the word.

Some people have asked if they should start threads about Bosavi in some forums.  Absolutley!!! Just be sure that it is a forum you are already active in.  And check the rules of the forum to make sure your post isn't classified as SPAM.
