If the campaign will successful, we will be able to work a lot on combat moves and animations, we only need time and resources. The final version of the game will not have similar or derivative assets.
The gameplay will maintain the classical elements of a metroidvania game, 2D platformer, with soft RPG ingredients. Our aim is to introduce complex combat moves that recall fighting mechanics of KOF. In that sense we could define it a Kofvania genre.
